Opel Kapitaen picture[edit]
I hope you do not mind what I did to your picture. I should have asked you first, but until I had done it I was not sure what I wanted to do. Also it is easier to show you than to try and explain....
I like your picture a lot. But a lot of the pictures illustrating wikipedia entries end up taking up a very small area on the page, and I think for these, when discussing cars, it can be easier if one does not have too much of the surround and background. It changes the nature of the picture to do this, but I think as a portrait simply of the car - and the angle you have achieved is compelling for this old Opel - all the people standing round are a bit of a distraction. Of course, for other purposes, the people are more interesting than the car. This is certainly what many people - many women especically, at least in my experience - would say, I think! Anyway, I think there is room for both versions. I hope you agree and thank you much for contributing a super picture of an interesting car. Regards Charles01 (talk) 22:47, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
