About the Removal of 2 Images from 2022 Fifa World Cup and Fifa World Cup Final[edit]
The images weren't credited to the uploader, but the Original copyright holder as shown by the Wikipedia itself. Anzaan Annex (talk) 14:30, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
- Giving credit isn't sufficient, you need to have rights to freely re-distribute the work, which I don't believe you have. Getty Images expect to get paid for that work, so by uploading and giving others the rights to reuse, you are depriving them of that. Spike 'em (talk) 14:45, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the Reply.
- I have a question. What about the other ones that are free to use, similar to the one I posted?
- And how do I know beforehand that those are free to circulate for editorial reasons? Anzaan Annex (talk) 15:43, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
