Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Witam serdecznie. Owszem, zdjęcie File:Gen. bryg. Stanisław BUTLAK.JPG, które umieściłem w haśle Stanisław Butlak było zrobione przez profesjonalnego fotografa celem włożenia do Teczki Akt Personalnych. Zgodę na publikację tego zdjęcia otrzymałem, więc opublikowałem je na oficjalnej stronie 23 Śląskiej Brygady. Dlaczego jako Admin strony 23SBA nie mogę tego samego zdjęcia umieścić w Wiki? Szczerze mowiac to sporo roboty by bylo, ale bot by to zrobil w kilkanascie minut. Trzeba by bylo napisac w jakichs tutejszych zadaniach dla botow, ale nie wiem gdzie takie sa. Polish speaking OTRS agent requested[edit]

Tak - ale tak czy owak - wyszło z niego, że nie ma potwierdzenia na zgodę na CC-BY-SA i GNU FDL na pliki, które załadował Pkuczynski - a na maile i wpisy w dyskusji (w Wikipedii) - nie reaguje. Trzeba więc tą sprawę rozwiązać - zwłaszcza, że to dotyczy fotek zawodowego fotografa. Ciągnąłeś tą sprawę w 2009 i wtedy ona nie została załatwiona do końca. [1] i pewnie dlatego nie wstawiłeś wtedy szablonów OTRS do tych zdjęć. Plus jest taki problem, że w tym szablonie jest ewidentna reklama tego zawodowca, co też nie jest zgodne z zasadami Commons. Drugi taki przypadek to fotki Łukasza Łukasika User:Pkuczynski/Lukasz Lukasik - [2] - tu nie ma żadnego w ogóle potwierdzenia zgody. Polimerek (talk) 10:54, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

obsłużyłeś ten ticket w grudniu 2010, ale nie dodałeś na stronę pliku żadnej informacji o tym, że zgoda została otrzymana, w związku z czym wczoraj plik został usunięty. Tak samo to - File:Bażantarnia in Pszczyna - map 2.jpg - autor wcale nie jest anonimowy, bo jest podpisany na mapie (niestety z powodu jakości nie idzie rozczytać); także data bardzo dokładnie jest podana. No ale tak się wpisuje, jak się nawet oryginału albo dobrej kopii w ręku nie miało, prawda? I pięknie weryfikowalne (nie mówię o licencji, bo to że to pd-old to dośc logiczne, ale zwykłej weryfikowalności/źródłach) grafiki trafiają do haseł. Masur 19:12, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wiesz, może mój komenatrz był nieco ostry (za co przepraszam, jeśli odebrałeś go zbyt osobiście), ale chodzi mi głównie o to, że mamy teraz super nastawienie w kierunku źródeł w hasłach, podczas gdy pliki nikogo w tej kwestii nie interesują. A przecież fałszywe informacje mogą być tak samo w pliku, jak i w haśle, stąd powinny nas obowiązywać podobne standardy. I wcale nie chodzi o licencje. Masur 08:32, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Jeśli coś jest PD, to źródło jest przydatne, ale nie jest formalnie konieczne. - formalnie jest konieczne, bo jak zweryfikować PD? Szczeólnie, jak dochodzi do przypisania sobie autorstwa i źródła. Pytanie[edit]

Czy wg Ciebie rzecznikiem powinna być osoba, która wymyśla sobie nieprawdziwy powód pewnej sytuacji ("której nie chce się odpisywać")? Jakbyś się zapytał normalnie to bym Ci odpowiedział czemu nie odpisuję. Jednak w takiej sytuacji nie będę się przed Tobą tłumaczył. Co do poprzedniego pytania - zajmuję się wyłapywaniem copyvio. O sprawach językowych proszę pisać do osoby, która się zna na tym - nie da się ukryć, że mój język jest słaby. Na bugzillę każdy może zgłaszać błędy. Linki w protectedpagetext kierują do dyskusji artykułu, więc jest ok. Z mojej strony sprawa zakończona, nie będę więcej odpowiadał na Twoje zaczepki. Ale ja poważnie mówię, że nie jestem kompetentny w sprawach językowych, więc wolę nie tłumaczyć komunikatów systemowych, jeśli nie jest to jakis banalny błąd, który dla mnie jest oczywisty. Z tego co widzę, to najlepiej napisać do Julo, Maire. Pewnie z kilku innych też, ale nie chcę wprowadzać w błąd - co do tych dwóch userów jestem na 100% pewien. Na jakiej podstawie twierdzisz, że ten tekst jest udostępniony na licencji cc-by-sa-3.0 (czytaj: kto udzielił takiej licencji)? Jeśli nie jesteś autorem tekstu, to powinieneś wskazać stronę, na której taka licencja została udzielona, lub przesłać kopię podpisanej przez autora zgody na udzielenie licencji do OTRS.

Hello. I'm a steward. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus recently. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing administrators' activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.

You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on plwikibooks, where you are an administrator. Since plwikibooks does not have its own administrators' rights review process, the global one applies.

If you want to keep your rights, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights, and demonstrate a continued requirement to maintain these rights.

We stewards will evaluate the responses. If there is no response at all after approximately one month, we will proceed to remove your administrative rights. In cases of doubt, we will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact us on m:Stewards' noticeboard.
