Ayudar con unos libros[edit]

Siento la molestia pero me podría usted ayudar a subir estos libros ya que cuando yo lo trato no me funciona el uploader...

@Level C: Hola, la herramienta para subir libros de internet archive es https://tools.wmflabs.org/ia-upload/ , los pasos a seguir los describe la misma aplicación, en tu caso tenes que usar los siguientes identificadores de internet archive:

  • elhimnodelpueblo500sant
  • conferenciapol00pell
  • abz5671.0001.001.umich.edu

En la aplicación vas a tener que asignarle un nombre al archivo, que sea conveninete, por ejemplo en el primero "El himno del pueblo".

Por otro lado, antes de subir un libro, tenes que verificar que cumplen con las normas de derechos de autor de Commons (no todo libro de Internet Archive las cumple), que resumidamente te puedo decir es que haya sido publicado antes de 1924 (Norma copyright de Estados Unidos) y que esté libre de derechos de autor en el pais de origen, te recomiendo leer Commons:Copyright rules, y Commons:Copyright rules by territory, para eso hay que chequear en que momento han fallecido los autores de los textos. A pues gracias y me doy por vencida. No sé porque no me funciona a mi. Gracias por su tiempo. Me da un error cuando trato aunque en un momento dado meses atras funcionó para mi.

Instrucciones a Los Mayordomos...[edit]

Buenas! Vi que estuviste re-subiendo el libro por problemas para ver las imágenes ¿ya te funciona? El año pasado hubo un problema con esto, y tuve que volver a subir varias decenas de libros. Cualquier cosa me avisas y vuelvo a armar el pdf desde los archivos originales, que ahora debería andar bien "siempre". Saludos! Mauricio V. Genta (talk) 21:19, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Mauricio V. Genta: Si habia problemas en la carga de las imagenes en wikisource y aca mismo en commons cuand avanzabas las páginas, supongo que la forma en que fue creado el archivo pdf crea problemas con la previsualizacion de las páginas, cuando el sistema quiere mostrar la pagina individual, no la puede hacer. Lo que hice es regenerar el pdf nuevamente, reexportándolos como imagenes y rearmando los pdf. Había un problema con el generador de thumbnails en su momento (en mediawiki), así que seguramente algunos libros me quedaron guardados con configuraciones raras de prueba, revisaré los de esa fecha por las dudas. No los subo en djvu por razones de compatibilidad con otros dispositivos mayormente. Cualquier cosa, de todos los pdf, conservo la carpeta de trabajo original, así que puedo realizarle modificaciones sin problemas. Saludos! Mauricio V. Genta (talk) 18:05, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hola Shooke:

Encontré que dentro de "Category:Miguel Moreno (sculptor)"‎ habían metido una imagen de un Miguel Moreno escritor de Ecuador (Category:Miguel Moreno). Al intentar separarlos, localicé un Miguel Moreno del siglo de Oro (Category:Miguel Moreno (1596-1655)). Como vi que se iba complicando, encontré en Wikipedia una página de desambiguación de Miguel Moreno (Miguel Moreno (desambiguación). Entonces decidí parar, porque veía que el tema era complejo. Hoy lo he estado pensando y estoy de acuerdo contigo, lo mejor es crear una página de desambiguación en Wikimedia Commons y enlazarla con la de Wikipedia. ¿Te apetece hacerla? Hay varios escritores con el nombre Miguel Moreno:

  • Miguel Moreno (1596-1655); poeta español. Sin biografía en Wikipedia, y con fecha diferente de fallecimiento en Wikidata: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q6844689
  • Miguel Moreno Moreno (1926-2010); escritor español. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q6014798
  • Miguel Moreno: escritor de Ecuador. Que aparece en la fotografía: File:Remigio Crespo Toral 1903.JPG y que debe tener importancia literaria, porque comentan un libro que publicó en 1903, pero no localizo información sobre el; ni tiene Wikidata ni biografía en Wikipedia (al menos que haya localizado). Por eso lo dejé en la categoría: Category:Miguel Moreno Hasta localizar más información, o mejor aun, hacer una página de desambiguación y renombrarlo por ejemplo: Category:Miguel Moreno (writer from Ecuador)
