Hallo SelfQ,
de onderstaande door u toegevoegde content is niet vrij en is daarom verwijderd:
- Logo of the Social Liberal Party (The Netherlands).jpg
Wikimedia Commons (deze website) bevat alleen mediabestanden die voor ieder doeleinde gebruikt kunnen worden, inclusief:
- gebruik in ieder werk, ongeacht de inhoud
- het maken van afgeleide werken
- commercieel gebruik
- vrije verspreiding
Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT (talk) 06:24, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called SelfQ. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name SelfQ~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Please properly change the map "File:Dominion of Pakistan & Indian Controlled Kashmir (orthographic projection).svg" you created[edit]
Hello, SelfQ~commonswiki, the author of the map "File:Dominion of Pakistan & Indian Controlled Kashmir (orthographic projection).svg". This map shows the borders of every countries, political entities and other territories between July 2006 to June 2011, which makes a big mistake. Here is the reason: Dominion of Pakistan existed from 14 August 1947, when it became independent from British India, to 23 March 1956, when it was succeeded by Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Thus, this map should show the borders of every countries, political entities, colonies and other territories at the end of 1955 (see the English Wikipedia articles "List of sovereign states in 1955" and "List of national border changes since World War I"). —Preceding unsigned comment was added by 114.246.237.88 (talk) 13:48, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- Signing your posts on talk pages is required and it is a Commons guideline to sign your posts on deletion requests, undeletion requests, and noticeboards. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and a timestamp will then automatically be added when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion).
