Could you help to translate this please?

Hi there, here I have a short text that I am using to send to Flickr photographers to request that the relicence their stream under CC-BY-SA. I have quite a few Polish streams to contact, and I think that if I make the request in Polish I might be more successful. I was (kindly) surprised to find a citation of Saint Faustina on your user page. I lived in Kraków for some time. I visited – the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy in Kraków-Łagiewniki, which is dedicated to Faustina. It is a modern church, but there are many old, historical churches in Kraków, the most famous is [1] and probably the smallest ones are: this one and that one. Yet another citation from a Polish woman Irena Sendler: ... people should be divided only into good and bad. The colour of skin, religion, ancestry or status – are not of importance. The only thing that counts is what kind of human being they are (my translation), but ... a person must be rescued when drowning, regardless of religion and nationality or other factors in my opinion. Thanks Seleucidis for sharing your memories and experience on Saint Faustina and Devine Mercy. I would like to visit those places one day. I just read Irena Sendler and her thoughts and life are very inspiring. Today I visited the page of Saint Casimir curiously to find his details as I have to attend a wedding ceremony on next week at St. Casimir's Church, Kollam.

OnaSadya

JKadavoor, thank you very much. It looks delicious and I like rice and dishes with rice. I usually choose brown rice, because it contains more vitamins and minerals, but yes, white rice has a more royal taste. I have just read the article about Onam feest (there is even a short article on pl-wp) and I have read about OnaSadya food celebration. Unfortunately we don't have an article about OnaSadya on pl-wp. I have found a few sources written in English about OnaSadya, so maybe one day I will try to write a small article about it. I am interested in cuisines of other countries and I have contributed some articles about Dutch cuisine. Articles about dishes from other countries are always very popular and have a lot of views as DYK. I have also found two sources of pictures: [2] and [3] about OnaSadya. Do you maybe know if we can upload them to Commons? Or maybe you will be able to make your own pictures illustrating Onam and OnaSadya? It would be very nice if you could. Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Dear Seleucidis,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

• In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
• In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

1. 157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
2. In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
3. In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.
