Unfortunately, I'm not sure that your comments on that talk page, and adding an "InvalidSVG" tag to File:Imperial Monogram of Archduchess Sophie of Austria, Princess of Bavaria.svg, have pointed the way to Glasshouse generating more efficient SVG files. By the nature of what he does, the majority of Glasshouse's SVGs (with the exception of a few flag or decoration ribbon images) are not suitable to be ultra-optimized hand-coded SVGs of minimal size. The SVG validation errors on "Imperial Monogram of Archduchess Sophie of Austria, Princess of Bavaria" are stupid minor technical problems (including a vector path on <ellipse tag) which are not easy (or possible?) to fix within Inkscape, and fixing them would not instantly make the file a high-quality SVG. The W3C SVG validator only catches formal syntactic problems, not the substantive problems which are more important for how usable SVGs are on Commons. And as I've said here before, not everybody is suited to learn how to meaningfully hand-edit SVG files in a text editor -- for many people it would be a somewhat difficult-to-acquire skill which would not help them much to do what they want to do with SVGs... Thank you. One difference between Unicode and ISO 7000 is that Unicode defines abstract characters while ISO 7000 defines symbols (not only, but primarily) by their glyphic appearance. The corner marks are not part of the symbol itself but of the symbol definition, giving the user information about e.g. the placement of a symbol. -- Karl432 (talk) 13:30, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
So, jetzt sind die beiden wieder heile. BTW, ich halte Inkscape nicht für das geeignete tool für solche extrem einfachen Grafiken. Inkscape/Sodipodi erzeugen zwar die Grafiken, aber der Code ist mit sehr viel Müll garniert. sarang♥사랑 13:36, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

Hallo Rainer, bisher wusste ich nichts von der JSON-Möglichkeit. Ich möchte gerne auf effiziente Weise gute und brauchbare (also ebenfalls effizente) Dateien erstellen; das betrifft auch templates. Es steht die Frage im Raum, ob wir weiterhin {{TemplateBox}} benutzen oder <templatedata>JSON code</templatedata> direkt auf die Vorlagenseiten schreiben. {{TemplateBox}} kann auch TemplateData exportieren (- das passiert im Hintergrund -); alles was man dazu machen muss, ist {{TemplateBox}} den Parameter |useTemplateData=1 zu übergeben, dann exportiert es TemplateData, welches von Tools wie UploadWizard benutzt werden kann. -- Rillke(q?) 11:51, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
