Hello, and thank your for sharing your files with Commons. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. Please remember that all uploads require source, author and license information. Could you please resolve these problems, which are described on the page linked in above? Thank you. --Siebrand 03:31, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Bonsecours Market postcard[edit]
Hi. Image:Bonsecours Market Montreal Quebec Old Postcard.jpg looks like a useful image very likely to be in the public domain. However I note that you listed the author as "unknown" and that the "author died more than 70 years ago". That doesn't seem to make much sense-- you don't know who it was, but you know when they died? Puzzled, -- Infrogmation 03:49, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, right. It was fixed, thanks. RedAndr 18:55, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Library and Archives Canada non-public domain images[edit]
You have uploaded one or more images from Library and Archives Canada which is tagged as "copyrighted free use". Since Library and Archives Canada has made it clear they have not granted permission for free use of its photo catalogue, I have nominated all non-public domain images for deletion. Please see Commons:Deletion requests/Library and Archives Canada non-PD images. Thanks - some day, when your image(s) enter(s) the public domain, it can return to Commons! --Padraic 15:25, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 06:16, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi RedAndr, do you happen to know what species of Magnolia is depicted in your file File:Magnolia Bud.jpg? The bud (especially the scales) is so atypical for a Magnolia that I won't believe it is one until you can provide us with a proper species name (must be an exotic one, if it is a Magnolia in the first place). - Wikiklaas (talk) 21:33, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

File:Golfstream.jpg[edit]
Hi Андрей,
What do the colours of the arrow tell?
Surely, in the south it is warmer than in the north, but in the north it is warmer than other streams in the same sees.--Ulamm (talk) 10:21, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
- There are no other streams on the map and there is nothing to compare with Golfstream. So, the color gradient just reflects the fact it become cooler at North. --RedAndr (talk) 15:01, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
- I did not suppose you have drawn differnt streams, but if you look at Norwegian hydrology, you see, that in the Norwegian Sea there are the Golfstream and cold streams.
