Verbandsgemeinde-Kategorien[edit]

bitte nicht anlegen. Sowohl auf der deutschen Wikipedia als auch auf Commons legen wir bisher nur Kategorien für Landkreise und für Gemeinden an. Die Ebenen dazwischen (also Verwaltungsgemeinschaften jeder Art, wozu auch Verbandsgemeinden zählen) sind unnötig und außerdem sucht da keiner nach. Kennzeichen anonymisieren[edit]

Hi, kannst du mir sagen, wie du bei deinen Auto-Fotos (zB dem) die Kennzeichen anonymisierst? Ich hätte auch ein paar solche Fotos zum Hochladen, bringe das aber nicht zusammen... Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar. Gruß --Berntie (talk) 20:38, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lade das Foto in ein Programm zur Bildbearbeitung. Anschließend solltest du die Ansicht vergrößern (2-3fach), um detailliert arbeiten zu können. Jedes vernünftige Bildbearbeitungsprogr. hat Werkzeuge, um einen Rahmen um das Kennzeichen zu ziehen. Anschliessend bestimmst du die Farbe, die in den Rahmen gefüllt wird (i.d.R. mittels einer Pipette in der Bildbearbeitung, mit der du auf die entspr. Farbe klickst). Danach befüllst du den Rahmen mit dieser Farbe. In den meisten Bildbearbeitungen ist der Button zum Befüllen des Rahmens mit einem Farbtöpfchen gekennzeichnet. So dürfte es mit den meisten Programmen zur Bildbearbeitung funktionieren. Gruß --Randy43 (talk) 20:56, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Das konkrete Problem ist, dass ich es nicht schaffe, den Rahmen entlang der Kanten des Nummernschilds zu ziehen, wenn das schief ist. Ein horizontales Rechteck schaffe ich, aber zB bei dem Bild, dass ich oben verlinkt habe, ist das Nummernschild nicht horizontal, sondern eben schief.
Ich hab mich übrigens mit dem GIMP versucht; falls es Alternativen dazu gibt, dann probier ich die auch gerne aus. (Photoshop werde ich mir aber für so eine Pipifax-Aufgabe eher nicht kaufen. ;-) ) --Berntie (talk) 21:38, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nimm die Freihandmaske, die gibt es auch in Gimp, da kannst du durch das Ziehen der Linien den Rahmen selbst bestimmen. Gruß --Randy43 (talk) 21:46, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Danke für den Hinweis. Die Datei wurde von mir ursprünglich unter "Volkswagen Fox" kategorisiert. Offensichtlich durch Vandalismus wurde die Kategorie entfernt. "Chrysler Valiant"[edit]

Hallo Randy, ich bitte um Verständnis, dass ich deinen "Chrysler Valiant" von 1970 auf "Plymouth Valiant" umgesetzt habe. Ich bin wirklich der festen Überzeugung, dass es sich um ein US- (bzw: Kanada-) Modell handelt und nicht um einen australischen Chrysler Valiant. Der Wagen hat Linkssteuerung und er sieht auch aus wie ein US-Modell.

Chrysler legte in den USA großen Wert darauf, dass nur große Autos "Chrysler" heißen durften. Die minderen Modelle hießen entweder Plymouth oder Dodge. Das änderte sich erst nach der Ölkrise, als 1974 der erste Chrysler Cordoba erschien.

Ford Fiesta MK 1 ´82 - so klein ist die Welt  ![edit]

Hallo Herr Stricker,

was für ein Riesen-Zufall: die beiden Bilder des braunen Ford Fiesta MK 1 sind im Schwetzinger Stadtteil Hirschacker entstanden, in der Rheintalstraße - der Wagen hatte ein Heidelberger Kennzeichen aus der Vor-Euro-Zeit, stimmt das ?

Exakt diesen Wagen habe ich letztes Jahr im Originalzustand von der schon älteren Erstbesitzerin gekauft. Er stand einige Zeit bei den anderen Old- & Youngtimern meiner Sammlung, nach einem halben Jahr habe ich ihn dann an einen Ford-Sammler aus der Koblenzer Raum weitergegeben, der schon länger nach einem solchen Modell gesucht hatte. Dort ist er m.W. heute noch in Betrieb !

Schön, den Wagen hier quasi "verewigt" zu sehen ! (;-))

Why not? Please give me the source for your statement, because I can not find a rule for this assertion in commons. But I can find many pictures with description links to german or other language wikipedias! Although, there is no required additional text except the produkt description in my foto, however, this does not mean that I must omit the usual links. Besides, the addition "Das ist" or "This is" does not bring any added value. In addition, the accompanying picture with rear view should have the identical description. It is useful quickly to find the correct page as a German, and I am a german, this is the reason. A single link can also be a description. People from other countries can complete with other languages. I can't understand your new edit. First, you take the link away, and then, you suddenly make links to several languages. Why suddenly? It seems it is very, very urgent for you to have the last edit? Or maybe I could convince you? However, it's ok. But under "other versions" of this template you can see, that there is a accompanying picture with rear view of the same car, this picture should have the same description as front sight. After you have changed the front view description again, please change the rear version, too, so it will have the identical description. Besides: I have licenced this photo, so everybody can use it. Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze[edit]

Hallo Randy43,

in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.

Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.

In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen[edit]

Hallo Randy43,

nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.

Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.

Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

Viel Erfolg und Spaß beim größten Fotowettbewerb der Wiki(m/p)edia in den bevorstehenden Wettbewerbswochen wünscht Dir das Orga-Team. Wir freuen uns auf Deine Fotos.

Rathaus in Somborn, Koordinaten[edit]

Ferrari F430 - wheels/rims[edit]
