User talk:Rabo3~commonswiki
Welcome!
I check this page infrequently and in general I would prefer to have any request/comments forwarded to my page on English wikipedia. If doing so, please do remember to mention that your comment relates to Wikimedia Commons. If that is not possible, you can add comments below, but my response time is likely to be very slow.
Koven.rm[edit]
Would you care to find more pictures by the en user Koven.rm? Most of them seem very suspicious so I'd really appreciate if you would start a mass deletion request. I'd do it myself if I had time, but other stuff takes up my Commons time. Thanks for being so useful, Lewis Collard! (hai thar, wut u doin) 11:11, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for removing picture[edit]
How embarassing. At the zoo they told me it was a White-edged Oriole. They must really not know. Tomfriedel (talk) 03:12, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello Rabo3, do you feel confident about this? I got the information a few months ago from the owner himself. Yours, --3268zauber (talk) 11:15, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

rename and rename media[edit]
Re Commons talk:MediaMoveBot/CheckPage: I have been listed as one of the editors that this bot recognises for accepting renamed files, so I have been writing over your renames. "{{rename|" and "{{rename media|" are the same, but when I change one to the other the bot will recognise my edit. You seem to do quite a lot of renames, so it would probably be easier and quicker to put your name on the page that I have linked to become trusted by the bot. - Thanks for the hint. I'll look into that later. • Rabo³ • 05:47, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Reading a bit more up on this matter, I think I'll pass for now. At present I have too few edits and have spend too little time reading the rules here on commons. • Rabo³ • 22:37, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- I will look out for "rename" in your edit summaries. Snowmanradio (talk) 23:29, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Rabo3. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Rabo3~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
