Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]][[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Categorising animals[edit]
Please add a category to indicate where the animal photograph was taken. Please also transfer information about any location provided Flicker to the image description on Commons. After using the automatic upload software for images on Flicker you will probably have to edit the image description on Commons to make it suitable for Commons. image names[edit]
Re File:St. Lucia Warbler nEO.jpg. What does "nEO" stand for in this file name. To me the meaning of this is not obvious. It could have easily been uploaded to a more descriptive name on Commons. Watermarks and borders[edit]

Completed upload[edit]
I have upgraded File:Scott Taylor (politician).jpg to the full size from the source, which I have also changed to point to the picture, not just the Facebook page. The Author info has been changed to match the EXIF data, along with the correct license for US Gov works. I will be supportive and assist you where I can.
