Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Creating articles, userpages, templates, etc. with promotional text is not permitted, nor is the posting of links anywhere on the Commons in an attempt to advertise a website, product, company, person, or organization. I don't really understand where I posted promotional material, perhaps you could point me out if I really did. These are all just some good-looking images I took and decided to upload them here in order for them to be used as wallpapers...

But I might as well take the opportunity to ask if linking to my YouTube channel from MY USER-PAGE is allowed. X490 (talk) 16:35, 10 October 2023 (UTC)

Commons is not for exposing your pictures or uploading wallpapers. The images uploaded should be usable in articles in a Wikipedia page and so far that is not the case. As for your YouTube channel, this is pure publicity, Commons is not here for your promotion. Pierre cb (talk) 03:57, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
