Spanish photographs

Would you be so kind to take part in COM:VPC#Spanish photographs if you have something to add regarding what constitutes una mera foto? In my very non-expert and possibly wrong opinion, most European countries that have simple photo provisions would consider the image in question to be simple. Ayuda respecto a la solicitud de permisos de imágenes

Hola Platonides, me han recomnedado en el café que me dirija a ti en busca de ayuda. Desde hace unos meses colgué diversas fotos en Wikimedia Commons, atribuyendome la autoria de las imágenes. El caso es que muchas si eran mías, pero otras no. Ayer me borraron bastantes, tanto de las mias como las que no lo eran. He empezado a enviar los permisos, pero no acabo de saber muy bien que tipo de permiso emplear con cada imagen. Además tengo diversa casuistica respecto a las imágenes que subi y han sido borradas. Mi idea es conseguir todos los permisos necesarios para regular todas las imagenes y que se puedan subir sin problema. Pero en este punto, necesitaría la ayuda de una persona que sepa como funciona OTRS y me pueda orientar caso por caso. ¿Me podrías ayudar? Si no puedes, lo entenderé. Traslado

Hola Platonides, ¿podrías revertir este traslado injustificado? Resulta que un usuario se registró sólo para solicitar ese traslado, que no está basado en razón alguna (no ha aportado argumentos convincentes, y además, el escudo es el mismo que el que usa el Ayuntamiento, por lo que el traslado no ha lugar). Se lo he comentado al admin que hizo el traslado, pero me ha respondido con una barbaridad de que tiene que hacerle caso al primero que aparece por aquí diciendo nosequé. Closing DRs

Greetings -- Although you have been an Admin for a long time, you haven't done many deletions. Perhaps you are not aware of DelReqHandler -- you did not use it on closing Commons:Deletion requests/File:The Verranzano Narrows Bridge - a perfectly steep approach can be viewed on the dashboard gadget - panoramio.jpg. I can see that because the {{Kept}} template is not on the file's talk page.

I suggest you take a look at User:Jameslwoodward/Commons notes for administrators#DelReqHandler. It has three advantages over the method you used. First, it's much faster for you. Second, it adds the {{Kept}} tag to the file's talk page. And third, it removes the delete tag from the file as a simple edit. Your reverting the edit which placed the delete tag is wrong -- it implies that adding the delete was a problem which should be reverted and it's a nuisance for me, because it adds the reversion to my alerts, which require immediate attention.

Even you chose not to use DelReqHandler, please be sure to add the {{Kept}} tag to the talk page (as I have done to the closing above) and do not revert the nomination -- simply remove it in an ordinary edit. .     Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 11:00, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Hmm -- sorry for the nudge above. It does look like a bug. It occasionally hiccups and fails to delete files, but this is the first time I've been aware of this problem. Foto A banda da Loba

Hola Platónides! Aunque ya me dijiste el 12 de marzo que: aclarado el asunto con la foto, ya se puede restaurar; no sé muy bien si lo que tengo que hacer es subir de nuevo la foto, deshacer la retirada de la misma (creo que no tengo las atribuciones requeridas)o pedirle a quien la suprimió que por favor la restaure. Por cierto, me dijo que: Please wait patiently until an OTRS agent handles the ticket, y horas después tu me escribiste diciendo que se podía restaurar. Perdona el lío pero es la primera vez que me pasa y no quiero meter la pata otra vez y que no prospere lo de la foto...Dime por favor cuando puedas, qué debo hacer. Oversight

Hola Platonides, acudo a ti como oversight de Wikipedia en Español. Quiero entender que correos privados no deben ser publicados en Wikipedia y que su supresión cae bajo las condiciones bajo las que se puede pedir una supresión. En concreto, me refiero a este texto (https://es.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Caf%C3%A9/Archivo/Miscel%C3%A1nea/Actual&diff=next&oldid=109253648), revertido pero ni siquiera borrado, que, sin ningún permiso por mi parte, ha efectuado Raymond Gelow el cual, al parecer, es socio de la misma asociación que yo y de la que ha extraído sin permiso mis correos. Hola Discasto,

El cambio sí estaba borrado, pero solamente las ediciones que mencionaban de forma concreta los correos, por lo que era posible ver el contenido a través de ediciones de otros usuarios. El problema es que hay 32 ediciones intermedias de 15 usuarios desde [1] a su retirada en [2]. He procedido a ocultarlo. De todos modos, más que buscar ocultar la glosa que hace Raymond Gelow de tu correo en la segunda parte de su mensaje, te aconsejaría mantener esos comentarios visibles y publicar una nota aclarando tu posición (que ya has mencionado en otras ocasiones, y seguro que está por meta). En mi opinión, el resumen de Raymond presenta una visión distorsionada (a peor) de lo que realmente contenían los mensajes en el contexto del hilo (suponiendo que yo sí lo haya interpretado todo correctamente, claro).

LOL. ¿Publicar una nota? ¿Dónde publico una nota? Los correos tienen sentido en el contexto de la lista de correo de WM-ES, en la que ya habíamos hablado de la "dudosa" posición respecto a la privacidad de la WMF. Yo no he hablado de denunciar a nadie (de hecho fue otro socio el que sugirió denunciar, algo que a mí ni se me pasa por la cabeza). Yo, de todas formas, me he dado de baja de la lista. No tengo por qué tolerar no poderme expresar con libertad en un entorno privado sin que mis correos y manifestaciones sean filtradas, de forma adecuadamente tergiversada. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2017 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the twelfth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2017) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top 2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2017.

Round 2 will end on 22 July 2018, 23:59 UTC.

Acabo de ver tu texto en la discusión de eswiki y este mensaje a la vez.

Imagino que te refieres al "¿Dónde publico una nota?" de arriba, que es casi retórica y tienes razón que no es fácil de contestar. Tal vez no fuese buena idea. En todo caso, opciones había varias, como tu página de usuario en meta o una subpágina. Opino que tienes razón en determinadas cuestiones y, dejar que sean otros quienes presenten a su manera lo que interpretan que piensas lleva a que se te malinterprete. Desde luego que habrá quien no lo comparta, pero que sea lo que realmente hayas dicho, y no de lo que se enteraron de oídas. Esos eran mis 2©.

Aún así, es una situación completamente anormal donde se estaba discutiendo sobre ti por un gran número de usuarios en el Café mientras que estabas excluído. Pero desde luego, ese bloque de mensajes personales en es:Usuario discusión:Ecemaml no se parece en nada a lo que entendía por clarificar tu postura...

Hola compañero. Quería hacer un cropped a esta imagen pero tuve dudas sobre si quién la subió es el verdadero autor. El usuario "afirma" que la tomó en 2010 y la subió a Commons el 2011. Hice búsquedas y pareciera que no se usó esta imagen antes del 11 de marzo de 2011. Pero como sigo teniendo dudas, quisiera la opinión de otro usuario. Me ayudas? :) Saludos.
