Locator Map of Tripura.[edit]

I have found in that you have uploaded similar locator maps of different Indian states with colourful district divisions. It has indeed has helped Wikipedia a lot. But I found that although there are such maps of many North-East Indian states the locator map of Tripura is missing. I request to upload a similar locator map of Tripura with diferent districts in different colours. I hope you will keep my request. -Trinanjon (talk) 14:23, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata logo proposal[edit]

Hey :)

Thank you a lot for your Wikidata logo submissions. We will start the voting next week. Each logo can have a short text next to it on the voting page to explain the idea behind the logo. If you want to have that for your logo please add it to the logo's page and I'll then add it to the voting page.

Good luck! --Lydia Pintscher (WMDE) (talk) 10:15, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OSM - image of the week[edit]

Hello Arun, I add two of your images to the proposal for the image of the week in the OSM-wiki:

BTW.: We talk about Tilemill. Do you see a chance to develop a mb-tiles extension for MediaWiki? So that users could upload mb-tiles to commons. I mean it would be great to have scalable maps where we can read labels on each zoom level. After loading a page the map should only be an image, but after a click on it would become a interactive map. I see this more as a long-term project. --Kolossos (talk) 07:30, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I recently viewed your map via the English Wikipedia article on India. The map is visually quite interesting, but it includes no key: the colors do not seem to indicate anything specific, and so I am unsure of its usefulness for the Wikipedia article. I was going to attempt to convert the image into an SVG file, but with no key, there would be no point in doing so. I am going to remove it from the English Wikipedia article on India pending the creation of some kind of key so that its appearance in that article can be of some real value to readers. Please contact me on my own talk page if you would like further input on this. Again, I am very interested in the map, and am only frustrated that I cannot interpret its contents! Also, I just read your comment here regarding this map. I cannot understand what you meant, however, and the "wait a few weeks"? What does that mean? What was supposed to happen in a few weeks? Did it happen? The discussion got archived years ago but the map remains uninterpretable to the lay reader. Am hoping you can clarify for me. Thank you!
