Its design seems to have been influenced by the Trinitarian cross... -- AnonMoos (talk) 10:27, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I see what you mean. — Pkanella (talk) 03:40, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That word is a little strange, because early Indo-European -os in this word is a case/gender/number ending (just as Greek -os and Latin -us were in the majority of cases), and such were almost always dropped when derivational endings were added... AnonMoos (talk) 14:19, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. Thank you. I've never really liked how clumsy the word is.--Pkanella (talk) 04:23, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to heed your helpful advice, drop the word's ending, and change the name of the religion to Deiwism, unless you have a different recommendation. Thank you again!--Pkanella (talk) 04:49, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No, there's no glaring discrepancy in "Deiwism" that I can see (it's about as plausible as it needs to be). Some older or regional dialects of Greek even had a "w" consonant (though standard classical Greek didn't) -- see en:Digamma. -- AnonMoos (talk) 13:48, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
