Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Commons:Deletion policy

Hi Petiatil, our deletion procedure (Commons:Deletion policy) is slightly different from en-wikipedia, and what's confusing is that templates here and at en-wiki have the same name but do different things. You opened both a Commons:Deletion requests and tagged the file with speedy deletion without completing the former. Generally pick one and follow each stage within the infobox created by the template and you'll be okay.

Generally we do not editoralise at other projects unless a file is a copyvio, so as File:Hairy anus hair.jpg is in use by other projects, speedy is not really an option. With regards vandalism at en-wiki, what has been done in the past is to create a blank local image there with the same name which will prevent the image being displayed there. w:MediaWiki:Bad image list is perhaps a better place to deal with this.KTo288 (talk) 08:50, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
