Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Identyfikacja

dzięki wielkie :) mam jeszcze tego trochę, to będę dorzucać. Co do paprotki, to mieliśmy podejrzenia o nerecznicę grzebieniastą, bo w tamtych rejonach miało się ją spotkać, ale ok - rosło na trzęsawisku dosłownie (właściwie tam już było grząsko i pare metrów do jeziorka. Tutaj zbiorowisko z ta rośliną. Wiązówka rosła tutaj. Za kuklika też dzięki :) Rósł w sąsiedztwie tej roślinności, co wiązówka. Przykuta → [edit] 11:44, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

No więc widzisz, przyjacielu: O wiele lepiej widoczny jest herb na tym plakacie czy obiekcie plakatopodobnym. Niczym mucha na obiektywie. Jeśli użyję wyobraźni, zobaczę herb Sopotu na tej drugiej rzeźbie. Ale pod tym kątem, jest ona czystą abstrakcją. Dlatego, bardzo, proszę Cię o usunięcie omawianej kategorii. Pomniki w Elblągu

Witam!

Elbląg jest centymetry od granicy z województwem pomorskim. Kilka lat temu mieszkańcy wnioskowali o przyłączenie, bo do Gdańska mają bliżej niż do Olsztyna. I tak granice województw tylko schematycznie odtwarzają granice historyczne. Wilanowska, Warsaw

Hi Panek, why would you state, that Aleja Wilanowska is not part of Trakt Krolewskie. Obviously not the whole Wilanowska, but only 1.000 final meters in Wilanów. But nowadays all the street from Galeria Mok til Wilanów castle has the name Aleja Wilanowska. re: kategoryzacja

Witam, jak łatwo zauważyć (brak kategorii Uploaded with UploadWizard) wszystkie moje pliki ładowałem automatycznie przy pomocy php i bazy zabytków w mysql. Wszystkie dostały kategorię w postaci nazwy miejscowości oraz szablon { {zabytek } } z numerem oraz nazwą gminy i zdaję sobie sprawę, że aktualnie mogły na commons znajdować się kategorie, które bardziej pasowałyby do pliku, a nawet zawierały w/w szablon, ale niestety nie miałem na to czasu. W miarę możliwości będę kategoryzował załadowane pliki, które załadowałem o ile mnie ktoś nie uprzedzi...

Perspektywa

Wojska Polskiego w Gdańsku

Witam,
masz rację, to było raczej niedopatrzenie, bo w Googlu istnieje tylko aleja Wojska Polskiego w Gdańsku a nie ulica Wojska Polskiego w Gdańsku i to raczej na Strzyży niż w Oliwie. duplikaty

Witaj - no i doczekałam się krytyki, a już było tak miło! Dziękuję Ci za postawienie do pionu, chociaż ... chyba mam nieco inne zdanie w tej kwestii. Na początek ja też się cieszę, że wróciłam - dziękuję, robię dziś więc swoje. I robię to chyba nieźle, oczywiście to moje zdanie.

Sądzę, że to co robię może być komuś przydatne, choć może też wkurzać tych, którzy "już kiedyś to pokazali nieco pod innym kątem, lub z innej perspektywy". Nie mam potrzeby dyskutowania dziś z nikim, czy to co robię, komuś jest miłe czy nie miłe. Sądzę, że to zbędne emocje, dla każdego z nas i nie chcę do nich dziś wracać. Nie chcę, też "denerwować" takich osób jak Ty, które sobie cenię i od których nadal się wiele uczę, nawet jak tego nie widzisz, a które dawały mi swego czasu cenne uwagi, które biorę sobie do serca do dziś. Nie inspiruję się jednak tematyką Twoich zdjęć, nie sprawdzam wcześniej co pokazałeś w commons i nie robię celowo "duplikatu". Po prostu jestem w danym terenie z jakimś celem własnym i przez kilka godzin robię tam setki zdjęcia, a potem zgodnie ze swoja koncepcją je upubliczniam. Czasem zdarza się spotkać w tej przestrzeni z Twoimi pracami. Nie sądzę, by to był duplikat. Po prostu inne zdjęcie - technicznie i merytorycznie moje spojrzenie na ten sam temat. Cieszę się także, że są osoby, które doceniają moje prace i je zauważają, bo to zawsze cieszy i wspiera zaangażowanie. Czasem krytyka bywa uzasadniona,a byłaby tym bardziej gdyby każde nowo wrzucone do Wiki zdjęcie było rozchwytywane i trafiało do kolejnego projektu, czy tekstu. Ale tak nie jest. Internet nadal nie jest medium powszechnie docenianym. Wiele naszych prac jest "w szufladach" samej encyklopedii i czeka na dobry, lepszy czas. Szczerze mówiąc, staram się "nie wchodzić nikomu w drogę". Nie "wedytowuję" swoich prac w cudze pliki, jak robią to niektórzy, i nie umieszczam w kategoriach "od czapy", co też widziałam czasami.

Nie zgadzam się jednak z Tobą, bym cokolwiek duplikowana. Parametry techniczne moich zdjęć są odmienne tak od Twoich jak i wielu cudzych prac, także sposób patrzenia na sam temat jest według mnie nieco inny - kadrowanie, czasem obróbka graficzna. Podziwiam setki "Takich samych prac", które różnią się jakością dla mnie niedoścignioną. I sądzę, że jest to dobre, gdy mamy swoje "punkty widzenia" fotografując to samo, ale nie tak samo - różnorodność punktów widzenia i możliwość wyboru - to natomiast prawo odbiorców naszych prac.

W ogóle zastanawiam się nad pojęciem "duplikat" w pracach fotograficznych, w innych pracach artystycznych. Nie mówię o plagiatach w pracach pisanych, czy muzycznych, ale o fotografii. Gdybym zarabiała na swoich pracach pieniądze, mogłabym rozumieć niepokój, kogoś z kim bym konkurowała - ale wydawca i tak często wybiera z wielu "duplikatów" zdjęcie za które chce zapłacić - prawda? I nie zawsze kieruje się jego jakością, czy stricte tematem, a często autorem, czy innymi okolicznościami. Zdarza się się też tak, że fotografie są usuwane bez dyskusji z wiki, z czym się już spotkałam, choć prace nie są obsceniczne, ani nie łamią zasad dobrego smaku i regulaminów jakie by one nie były. W nic też nie godzą, prócz być może ego administratora, dokonującego selekcji i utylizacji.

Nie zamierzam z Tobą konkurować, ale wybacz, jeśli znowu coś sfotografuję w tym samym miejscu w którym, Ty lub ktoś inny zrobił zdjęcie. Ktos ostatnio podkreślił, że w początkach polskiej wikipedii funkcjonowało hasło Wspólnie Wiemy Wszystko więc może i na fotografie warto patrzeć przez pryzmat tego hasła nieco zmodyfikowanego do potrzeb - Wspólnie widzimy wszystko - czasem wyraźniej, czasem z bukietem, a czasem bez - czasem w 68 rocznicę, a czasem na 3 miesiące wcześniej - i to nie jest to samo, to nie jest duplikat - to jest punkt widzenia, to inna praca, inna emocja w tle, inna praca artystyczna. Jest to inne spojrzenie, na coś co warto zauważyć, być może w każdych okolicznościach "przyrody". Pozdrawiam serdecznie--Jolanta Dyr (talk) 11:51, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Wcięcie wiersza Cieszę się, że udało nam się nie zapętlić i otrzepać z emocji - ja z wielkim entuzjazmem odkrywałam internet w 1996 roku, po raz pierwszy zaczęłam tworzyć strony, dla swojej firmy, dla innych i mnie to fascynowało. Dzisiaj nabrałam już nieco dystansu, ale Wiki media we wszystkich swoich kategoriach "podbijają świat" - wzbudzają entuzjazm u milionów ludzi, całkiem młodych i tych trochę wyrośniętych, którzy po woli zaczynają szukać swojej norki po pracy, czy na emeryturze. Fascynacja i wysyp treści i obrazów, może dlatego właśnie w tej chwili podaż jest znacznie większa niż faktyczne możliwości wykorzystania. Podziwiam niektóre fotografie, które naprawdę są jakościowo niesamowite. Ale i sprzęt czy narzędzia informatyczne - programy do ich realizacji, to spore koszty - nie wszyscy sobie mogą na takie "sztuczki" pozwolić. Ja mam czas i dlatego czasami mogę sporo czasu poświęcić na robienie dziesiątków zdjęć w jednym miejscu, by potem wybrać, coś co mnie "wciągnie" i się tym podzielić. Sporo mojej rodziny gdzieś pogubiło swe młode życie na ścieżkach polskiej historii i może dlatego teraz te miejsca pamięci, te "zachowanie w obrazach od zapomnienia", jakby oddanie cząstki siebie, w zamian.

Mam też tysiące swoich starych zdjęć, slajdów, które też warto by było światu pokazać. A to wymaga dodatkowej pracy - skanowania odbitek, skanowania negatywów, slajdów, retusz graficzny - sporo roboty technicznej, rzemieślniczej - myślę, że część tych zasobów wartych jest pokazania i do tego powolutku dojrzewam. Kiedyś rozmawialiśmy o "encyklopedyjności" zdjęć - wiele moich zdjęć jest chyba bardziej reportażowych w pewnym sensie, chociaż mało opowiadają o ludziach, więcej o przestrzeni, niż są encyklopedyczne. Ale może wiki Commons cieszą się też taka popularnością, że dość dobrze opisują zasady licencjonowania prac i jeśli użytkownik zachowa te zasady w respekcie, to "nasze" zdjęcia idąc w świat poniosą o nas "pamięć" jako o twórcach grafiki. Czy to ma jakieś znaczenie? No zapewne tak i ta odrobina satysfakcji, że ktoś zauważył. To cieszy. Dlaczego Warszawa, bom warszawianka, od wieków. Dlaczego Ochota? Bo Wilanów, Konstancin, Zawady, Mokotów objeździłam już rowerem. Bo wracam tutaj gdy tylko mam potrzebę i wracam po lepsze światło, albo sobie przypominam co pominęłam. Bo wiem, że mam tutaj bliżej i "zawsze" zdążę. A Ochota, bo przez 8 lat pl Narutowicza był miejsce przesiadkowym między Żoliborzem a Okęciem gdzie pracowałam. Bo sentyment, bo młodość, bo wspomnienia i dobre i złe, bo odkrywam na nowo, to czego nie zauważałam, gdy z nią wiązał się kontakt w dużej mierze z "obowiązku" Przesiadka, zakupy, zabieganie zalatanie. Teraz na ulicy zwracam uwagę na wiele rzeczy i odkrywam wiele rzeczy jak talizmany. Ochota bliżej mnie teraz niż Wola, ale Wola była pierwsza w miejscach pamięci, bo chciałam coś zamanifestować, coś sprawdzić, czegoś się dowiedzieć. Dalej rowerem sięgnąć trochę trudniej, bo trzeba go łączyć z komunikacją miejską lub samochodem, by miało sens kilkugodzinne łażenie i fotografowanie. Żoliborz, Bielany, Stare miasto. Pytasz co ja na to - żeby zacząć robić opisy? Lubię pisać, to moja domena, ale na razie jeszcze się nie mogę do tego zebrać. Jeszcze uważam, że moje zdjęcia są "mało encyklopedyczne", choć je można już chyba liczyć w tysiące, a teraz już wiele z nich powinnam podmienić lepszymi wersjami. Ale te spokojnie czekają na swoją kolejkę.

Zaczęłam od własnej galerii. I ..... zaplątałam się nieco we własnej galerii. Jest tak opasła, że bezsennsem jest kontynuowanie jej w tej formie w jakiej to robiłam dotychczas. Przeglądanie wymaga czasu i cierpliwości. Powinnam zmienić trochę sposób zbierania swoich prac " do kupy", ale jeszcze się tego nie nauczyłam robić. Podglądam trochę jak Ty to robisz. Na początek powinnam się nauczyć "ogarniać" własne zasoby. Jest to kwestia poznania narzędzi. Jestem przekonana, że gdy je opanuję, będę pisała i tworzyła zestawy i opisy. benedyktyńska praca

Witaj Piotrze - przepraszam, nie wiem czy wolno mi tak powiedzieć. Dzisiaj, po roku wiem jak "namieszałam" sama w strukturze wikicommons w zeszłym roku nie bardzo wiedząc o co chodzi. Wiem, że jest masa roboty i już powoli sama się do niej zabrałam w miejscach, w których spotykałam cudze zdjęcia działając w danym obszarze. Oczywiście jestem do pomocy. Mam swoich zdjęć jeszcze masę do "wrzucenia" do commons, ale "odkryłam ostatnio uploader, którego brakowało mi w trakcie WZL, więc w tle mogę robić porządki. Oczywiście w miarę swoich możliwości. Dzisiaj wiem, jaki ogrom to pracy. Nie bardzo wiem jak to zrobić, ale chciałabym może za Twoim pośrednictwem podziękować tym wszystkim osobom, które działają jakby w tle całego przedsięwzięcia zwanego encyklopedią. Wielokrotnie, często ze zmęczenia nazywałam pliki nie tak jak powinnam, albo robiłam błędy literowe. Dziś wiem ja prosić o poprawę czy usunięcie i to się działo bardzo szybko. Szczególnie w nocy, być może gdy byli to ludzie z drugiej półkuli. Szybko i sprawnie były realizowane poprawki. Dzięki wielkie, to wspaniała robota. Myślę, że sukces tegoroczny polskiej WZL, to tak naprawdę wysiłek setek osób i tych znanych przynajmniej po nikach ładujących pliki, ale też tych w tle organizatorów czuwających by trybiki machiny działały sprawnie i bez większych błędów i kłopotów. Ze swojej strony dzięki wielkie. Jestem Piotrku do dyspozycji, dzięki za propozycję współpracy w tym zakresie. Zajmę się na początek plikami zbliżonymi do przestrzeni mojego działania. Hi Panek, you seem to be in contact and good terms with Jolanta Dyr, who obviously is back. Actually I have no problem with her categorizations (like in the past), but the quality of her photos is quite poor. And she is pushing a lot of such photos in the system, which needs a bit of time to care about. I posted a note at her disc, but as she doesn't speak English, she might not completely understand. Witaj Piotrze - nie podoba mi się ta forma dyskusji "merytorycznej". To wcale nie jest sympatyczne być tematem sekcji w dyskusji, ale skoro tak jest przyjęte w commons, to porozmawiajmy w ten sposób. Wistula nadal nie odróżnia ... od twarogu niestety. Dziś nagle, mając rok czasu na to, sięga do starych zasobów commons i podejmuje dyskusję na temat jakości moich zdjęć, tuż przed wynikami konkursu WLZ 2012 i tuż po tym jak pojawiają się artykuły z moimi, a nie jego zdjęciami w tekście. Nie jest to dyskusja merytoryczna tylko emocjonalna rodem z magla, niestety. Bardzo sobie cenię jego zdjęcia i staram się nauczyć robić takie zdjęcia jakie on potrafi robić. Ale wśród jego zdjęć trafiają się też gorsze, by nie powiedzieć złe. Po za tym często "depczemy sobie po pietach", to znaczy bywamy w tych samych miejscach. Ja sobie zdaję sprawę z kiepskiej jakości wielu moich ubiegłorocznych zdjęć, ale wiem jak wiele dobrych dzisiaj moich jest w zasobach Commons. Wiem również jak wiele zdjęć kiepskiej jakości siedzi w tekstach publikowanych przez wiki. Przecież nie podmienię ich swoimi, nawet mogąc to zrobić. Nie o to chodzi, by jak psiaki, sikać w to samo miejsce udowadniając czyje na wierzchu, ale aby wspólnie tworzyć, coś co ma służyć nie tylko naszej satysfakcji, ale dobru większemu. Być może przyszłym pokoleniom, gdy my przejdziemy w zapomnienie. Patetyczne - być może, ale to prawda. Sądzę, że nie potrzebuję mediacji w rozmowach merytorycznych z kimkolwiek - jestem już dużą "dziewczynką" i nie boję się dyskusji "na temat". Wiem natomiast, co tematem nie jest. Wiem, też, że mój angielski jest kiepski, dlatego posiłkuję się tłumaczem, ale nie zawsze z tego wynika, to co chciałabym powiedzieć. Jak Wistula chce, to niech te wszystkie moje zdjęcia, które mu się nie podobają nie tylko w Wilanowie, nominuje do usunięcia. Nie mam nic przeciwko temu. Ja w przypadku jego zdjęć tego robić nie będę, a przynajmniej w commons pozostaną moje tylko dobrej jakości. Co dla mnie i jakości mojej pracy będzie tylko korzystne. Natomiast w rozmowach rodem z magla uczestniczyć więcej nie życzę sobie. Być może na koniec jedna uwaga, by ten etap raz na zawsze zakończyć. Być może tak wiele jest problemów w stosunkach "męsko - damskich" w wielu działaniach społecznych, że Wy Panowie, nie zauważacie swoich własnych emocji, jakie wami targają i pchają do działania. Bardzo często niestety nie są to "emocje" merytoryczne, tylko męska duma, która by chciała "dominować" nad kobietami. Dlatego też często kobiety nie biorą w takich działaniach udziału, bo mają zbyt wiele do "udowodnienia", że nie są od was gorsze, by zacząć coś w końcu w tym co robią znaczyć. I być szanowane i doceniane. Ja nie muszę być doceniana, jeśli ktoś sobie tego nie życzy. Ja raczej wiem co robię, jak i dlaczego. I być może też nie zawsze są to wyłącznie merytoryczne przesłanki. Tacy my ludzie już jesteśmy, bardzo do sobie podobni, bez względu na płeć. Lubimy być podziwiani, chwaleni, doceniani. Witaj raz jeszcze - nawiązując do Twojej odpowiedzi, ja osobiście nigdy nic do Wistuli tak naprawdę nie miałam. Wręcz przeciwnie, wiedzę, że robi dobre zdjęcia i za to go bardzo szanuję i stać mnie na to by to publicznie powiedzieć. Ale mam na tyle doświadczenia w obcowaniu z ludźmi by wiedzieć jak bardzo "jedzie" na emocjach. Miał cały rok na to by "dyskutować" na temat jakości moich ubiegłorocznych zdjęć, natomiast "wyskakując z tym problemem" właśnie w tym tygodniu i w tym momencie nie sądzę, by "dobro commons" było wyłącznie jego celem. miałam też zamieszczając swoją dla niego odpowiedź "przyjemność" przeczytania Waszej korespondencji na mój temat u niego w dyskusji, co mnie trochę emocjonalnie "tąpnęło". Nie chcę więcej dyskutować na temat kto ma rację a kto nie w tych kategoriach dyskusji. Jeśli Wistula chce moje zdjęcia wyrzucić, niech je nominuje do wyrzucenia i już. Nie chcę natomiast by za rok znowu wrócił temat jakości jakiś moich zdjęć. Nie chcę wracać do podobnej dyskusji, bo to jest po prostu chore. Witaj - chciałam Ci serdecznie podziękować za kolejną gwiazdkę a i Syrenkę. W zeszłym roku poruszałam się po Commons jak słoń w składzie porcelany, dzisiaj widzę swoje błędy i niestety popełniam inne, ale też staram się nie popełniać poprzednich. Jeśli chodzi o porządkowanie zasobów, to tylko drobna forma podziękowania tym wszystkim, których nie znam, a którzy zajmowali się moimi, nie zawsze doskonałymi pracami. Porządkowanie plików, no cóż - ktoś to musi zrobić. Jeśli robię to w miarę poprawnie, to się cieszę, że nikt nie będzie musiał po mnie poprawiać. Dzisiaj wiem ile jeszcze przede mną pracy nie tyle nad cudzymi plikami, co także nad własnymi, z którymi także zrobić muszę porządek, bo zeszłoroczne prace nie były zbyt dobre i faktycznie powinnam część z nich przynajmniej poprawić, jeśli nie wyrzucić. jeszcze raz dziękuję i pozdrawiam. :) --Jolanya Dyr (talk) 13:23, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Każdy się wciąż uczy. Ja też. Jedną z nauk jest to, że wojna z botem rzadko daje szanse na wygraną, a ty ją właśnie zaczęłaś. ;-) A poważnie – chodzi o zmiany JarektBota. Ja też na początku pomyślałem, ze coś jest nie tak, zwłaszcza że najpierw zetknąłem się z jakimiś nieudanymi jego edycjami, które skutkowały wrzuceniem do kategorii z "unknown gmina". Natomiast okazało się, że administratorzy coś zmienili w szablonie {{Zabytek}} i ma one teraz wyglądać inaczej. Potwierdziło to się w dyskusji WLZ. Zaglądnij też tam. Piotrze, rozumiem, że bot to jest automat, który coś robi bo ktoś mu kazał to zrobić, wg pewnego programu. Tak jak wirus. Tylko dla mnie nie jest zrozumiałe, jak to ma naprawdę działać - bo kategoria "zabytki warszawa - śródmieście" wpisana jest wprost do pliku, zamiast powstawać automatycznie na podstawie struktury szablonu

na poziomie kategorii ukrytych. Więc czemu ten bot służy? Wg mnie rozwala tylko strukturę kategorii, a nie je automatyzuje. Chyba będę musiała przerwać porządkowanie zasobów po WLZ bo nie rozumiem sposobu w jaki teraz zabytki mają być porządkowane. Wg mnie ręczne wpisywanie gminy do pliku jest bez sensu. Ze struktury szablonu nijak gmina nie wynika, tylko z wpisania kategorii wprost do pliku. Więc zabytki wpisane np pod nr 275 w różnych województwach nigdy nie zostaną zidentyfikowane w odpowiednim miejscu - wsi, mieście, dzielnicy, jesli ktoś ręcznie jawnie nie wpisze gminy. Dyskusja mnie nie przekonuje, bowiem nie mam jeszcze doświadczenia w jej czytaniu, rozumieniu i argumentowaniu. Natomiast widzę skutki jako onegdajszy programista gubienia na poziomie szablonu zabytek takich informacji jak data stworzenia rejestru, co może być istotne w sprawach spornych jak i informacji o gminie (mieście, wsi, dzielnicy itp). Stopuję więc poprawianie zasobów WLZ, bo jeśli z botem nie wygram, to bez sensu jest moja praca. Muszę rozumieć, co robię, a teraz niestety ani tego nie rozumiem, ani kierunku zmian nie rozumiem. Dear Panek, As every year, Wiki Loves Monuments in Spain, an international photographic contest about cultural heritage in the Spanish territory, will start on next September 1st. Prosta/Panska Streets

Thanks, you are right, nr 35 was wrong. I changed that. In fact, sometimes it is not easy to find the right categorization. Quite complicated too is the Mennica Residence/Aurum/Herman Jung brewery-complex in connection with building addresses at Grzybowska/Walicow/Zelazna/Pereca. Raczyński Campus

Hi Panek, I am afraid, that your Raczyński-Campus-category at SGGW will become difficult. Theoretically the cat has to be below SGGW and than to throw all buildings/monuments/.. in, which are at the campus - which probably are 99% of all SGGW fotos. There are and will be very few from the old buildings or those not at the campus (people, horses, Kociszew, Madalinskiego). But it becomes difficult to separate faculties, who already existed before. And streets; some buildings are standing at Nowoursynowska, some at Ciszewskiego, some at Anody - though they officially all may have the Nowoursynowska adrress. Anyway - it's possible, but like now: some cats in that category, some single fotos - not yet perfect. What to do ? --Wistula (talk) 17:18, 12 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for feedback; I agree with everything you said at my disc. Commons often is difficult to categorize, we figured that out already with building or location history, specially in WWII-hit-Warsaw. It is not the most important thing in life, but still one may try to find a solution, SGGW in that matter seems not to be so complicated like UW or Politechnika (in which both I am not very interested in), the cat Warsaw University of Technology cultural heritage monuments ensamble (btw: maybe good to move to ensemble?) is comparable to the campus-one at SGGW. What about three category branches at cat SGGW: by location (1. campus, 2. building), by faculty, by person. As far as I can imagine, everything/everybody should find its place in this system - maybe at location and faculty, maybe at person and faculty, maybe at person and location (in case of e.g. monument), ... Buildings would be categorized in location (campus) and surplus at a street cat, when different or more specific than the campus ones. What do you think ? --Wistula (talk) 06:05, 13 May 2020 (UTC)

Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started

Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015 and Wiki Science Competition 2017 and Wiki Science Competition 2019, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started in the whole world. It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.

If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.

Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, that is "astronomy".

If you already took part in a country that has completed its upload phase, please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2020.

Odnośnie kategoryzacji w Rzeszowie to należy rozróżnić dwie osobne kwestie: 1) Category:Rynek Street in Rzeszów to jest kategoria o ulicy Rynek i jej budynkach, a 2) to kategoria o samym rynku.
