File:Terrence Greiner, Amherst, New York, 1992.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

The quality of the photo may be low, however it is a photo, and likely the only one of this person on Wikipedia. It is not a photo that is offensive, but one that provides an image of this individual. Whether or not it is maintained, perhaps it can yet be used somewhere outside of Wikipedia. When I uploaded this photo, I included the required information that was requested. The photo was from Flickr, and there was no author, so there was no specific author named. Daniellagreen (talk) 20:15, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Photo quality is low since it is one that I took and which was reprinted, thus the low resolution. This is the best one I have. Daniellagreen (talk) 20:20, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Follow-up to Recently Deleted Photos

Follow-up to Stemoc: Thanks for your reviews. I'm really bummed, though, because I put so much time and effort into uploading and converting those photos to the proper format. I had thought that if photos were licensed under Creative Commons, Generic, that they were all okay. So, the only thing preventing these photos from being including in Wikipedia is the "noncommercial" use symbol. I would have thought that Wikipedia, being a nonprofit organization, would be considered noncommercial. Daniellagreen (talk) 19:01, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Daniellagreen, we are non-commercial but the images we use on our site gets used by other sites and users "commercially" since once it gets uploaded here, we no longer have any control over how its used so its safer to use images that comply for use commercially.. that said, yes the creative commons licences is "too generic", we only allow 2 (cc-by) and (cc-by-sa). Generally, you can ask the flickr users to change those licences to one of the 2..some do comply...sorry about your images, I figured you worked hard on them thats why i found a "free" image of Beau Biden and uploaded it to his wiki page..--Stemoc (talk) 20:20, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your work and follow-up on this. I also noticed that you located that good photo that included Beau Biden, and cropped it, updating his profile with it. I had attempted to work on formatting it properly to upload to his profile, but was unable to do so due to issues on my computer that I'm still working on figuring out. Sometimes, it works for me when I transfer a file to my computer from Flickr, and attempt to change the formatting, and sometimes, it doesn't. Also, I really appreciate your explanation; you're right, it makes sense, and I understand about it better now. I will look more carefully on the details of the photos from Flickr now. Also, I did contact the photographer of the photos that I had uploaded to Hunter Biden's profile, but he didn't contact me back. Your information has been most helpful! Thanks again! Hi Daniella. Do you know exactly when the flier was published, maybe in a trade publication with a verifiable date? It's important because if it was published before March 1, 1989, since there is no copyright/trademark notice, it could be included with this tag provided there is no indication of attempt to renew 5 years after. If it was published after March 1, 1989, the rules change because the US adopted the Berne Convention in 1989 which meant company copyright notices were optional and there is assumed de facto copyright for all publications. Clearly, this image has been reflected by the votes to delete as problematic, and I concur. I had included it in the hope that it could be used, but see that it cannot be. Please delete it, Daniellagreen (talk) (cont) 03:06, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

For the record

This is to follow-up and be for the record that User:Carriearchdale has filed a baseless, false, and unwarranted report against me on Wikipedia, as can be found here [1]. As a result of this, it is being contemplated whether or not to place an indefinite block on the user, and user has had some rights removed by administration. This user obviously has nothing better to do than to continue to be fixated on me and my work here, apparently believing that his/her stalking and harassment of me and my work is some self-righteous endeavor, but which is really unconscionable. Any and all communications that I have made with this user in attempts to reason with her/him have resulted in a worsening of the user's behavior, and it has continued and carried over here to WikiCommons. Please be informed, Daniellagreen (talk) 03:33, 10 July 2014 (UTC) (I added the location of the Wikipedia report above.) Daniellagreen (talk) 16:51, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note to myself

I have made a report regarding the above user's conduct at: [2], Daniellagreen (talk) 03:54, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do make another note to yourself that all this is never going to work out well for YOU. For the record I responded to your continued personal attacks against me here at the commons, and I also set the record straight that it is you Daniellagreen that this current debate at ANI on en wikipedia is an ANI report that you are the subject of. You are confusing the the witch hunt, and lynch mob battleground tactics which are being used to try to sway the debate, and report about you being reported and accused of possibly doing paid editing while not disclosing. I also have made notice of two instances where you have made a clear legal threat towards me at the en wikipedia by using the words LIBEL and and variations thereof in statements you made there. Several editors on the pages where you made at least two legal threats against me even agreed with my view that what you posted in your statements would be considered as legal threats. I have never wished you any ill harm or bad wishes. In fact I do think that your motives might be good, but you have been led astray my the contentiousness of others. I wish you well in all your future endeavours. I have done my due diligence here, and have turned over any and all info that was given to me by another party to one of my trusted associates to move forward. Please do govern yourself accordingly!!! and as always please do have a lovely day!!!

ciao!!! Carriearchdale (talk) 17:07, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This editor clearly enjoys inciting conflict and her/his perspective is completely misconstrued, and her/his comments are being disregarded by me. Again, see the link above that I have provided, Daniellagreen (talk) (cont) 23:02, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Further note, the user Carriearchdale has been indefinitely blocked at Wikipedia for several reasons, including harassment of me there. Thanks for uploading File:Elitist Cup 1989.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Hi User:JuTa, Thanks for your message. I have uploaded this image only to provide verification regarding the horses' image that is found on it, and that is being used on the Dan Gernatt Farms article in Wikipedia. Also, this particular image was selected for possible deletion (see above); I was attempting to also provide sourcing in answer to a question that was posed in an administrative report that I recently filed toward the deletion requester. No one informed me of any other way to upload the photo, so I just did it using the general uploader. I do not expect for this document to be maintained, nor is that my intention, as stated above, Daniellagreen (talk) (cont) 23:00, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
