This media was probably deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:Dolphins Swimming Near Catalina Island, CA.JPG. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Dolphins Swimming Near Catalina Island, CA.JPG]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. @Ankry: The file is indeed my own, taken with my cellphone while my wife and I were on our second anniversary. As for it being deleted, well, I really couldn't care less. In case you haven't noticed, I've long since quit editing on Wikipedia. The stuffy arrogant atmosphere here is just more than I can handle. It's pretty obvious to me that the majority of editors here have no real life outside of Wikipedia. The thrill they seem to get out of applying these rigid nazi-like standards to every edit is pretty indicative of this...
Oh and don't waste your time copy/pasting any more templates here; I'm well aware that I'm probably violating numerous Wiki-rules in this comment, I just don't care. You have a wonderful day. Ormr2014 (talk)
The file contains information about the author (Kellie ...) in EXIF data. If you can prove that you are the author, the image can still be restored. The images containing authorship information that is different to the uploader username as well as published elsewhere before upload to Wikimedia Commons, require a written COM:OTRS permission. Follow the procedure shown there, if you wish the image to be undeleted. We have received a proof that the image was published elsewhere before upload to Wikimedia Commons. It's fine. I really could care less. The image was taken on Catalina Island during my 2nd anniversary. My wife and I were parasailing and someone on the boat was taking pictures of us in the air. She also got the dolphin pictures during that time. Personally, I couldn't care less if the image is deleted or not. I know who took it and the way I see it, if you want to be a nazi about it and not use it, your loss, not mine... Ormr2014 (talk)
