Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Thank you. Yes, I'm in the Greater New Orleans area. I do have quite a few more photos I took yesterday in Westwego and more from other places I have visited. I will send more in soon. Trouble

it seems I'm having some difficulty with all of this. Should I be categoring my uploads in the Nation Register of Historic Places? Should I be getting a lot of editing on what I send in? I'm a little bit puzzled by it all. Thanks Nutriawood (talk) 22:20, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

When it is a place on the National Register, it should be categorized - if there is a category for a particular place, add to that category, if not yet, for more general category like Category:National Register of Historic Places in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana - try to categorize at least by state, by city/town when possible. Of in addition to places on the National Register, useful general views of cities, towns, parks, locations etc are also welcome if they are reasonable illustrations. I and some others have been doing some edits on your uploads - because you are a new user uploading good quality useful images (Yay!) and we're eager to help out while you're getting the hang of things, until you can take care of details yourself.
