Norte Fijo is a contemporary Christian music group formed by a group of Puerto Ricans whose greatest desire is to worship the name of Jesus Christ through song. Norte Fijo is Ricardo "Ricky" Aquino, Mizraim Ezer Esquilín, Shirley Esquilín and Pamela Esquilín. From an early age, these individuals learned the value of worship and unconditional love towards Jesus, as result from the education they received in their homes. 

On June 2003, after singing together for several years as part of their worship experiences in their church, AMEC, Casa de Alabanza (House of Worship) in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, they decided to form this ministry. In addition from coming from the heart of God, the name Norte Fijo (Set North) comes from the biblical passage found on Philippians 3: 13-14: 

"Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." 

On this first album, Norte Fijo presents various music experiences inspired by the Holy Spirit through the years. Each song is an experience and a testimony produced by the intimate relationship each of these individuals has with the Lord. 

For this first project, Norte Fijo has been blessed with the collaboration of musicians and composers known in the Hispanic Christian music industry such as Danny Rodríguez, Carlos De León, Junior Alvarado, Angel Vigo and Walter Toyos. To the latter they have dedicated their album; for his testimony and for the ties of friendship they held before he was called to heaven, to be before the presence of the Lord. They also had the blessing of the collaboration of Vanyo Esquilín, guitarist and Musical Director of the renowned Puerto Rican Christian music group, 33dc.
