Categories[edit]

Always try to make categories as specific as possible. See, for example, the category changes I made for File:ION Orchard side view.jpg. But I'm not absolutely certain I have this right, and there might be other categories I've missed that are relevant and are not supercategories of the ones I've added. You undoubtedly know more, since it's your photo, so please check my work.

In general, though, it's not much use to add a category like Category:Architecture to an individual photo. Those are intended strictly as categories of categories. We spend a lot of time diffusing them. - Jmabel ! talk 21:58, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Similarly...[edit]

For File:International Plaza.jpg: what is it? Is it a hotel? an office building? Try to be as specific as possible in description & categories. - Jmabel ! talk 22:00, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your page blanking, if there is any problem with the image please say it in answer to this posting, I will see your answer and look what I can do. Blanking pages not deleted the image or do anything else, you only removed the information related to the file. --Martin H. (talk) 16:23, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I renamed the file to File:One Marina boulevard-2009-06-08.jpg. You placed the tag {{Badname}} on the image, this is to have badnamed files delted if you already uploaded a duplicate of the same file. Admins can rename files with the "move" option (like moving articles in Wikipedia), to have a file renamed please use {{rename|newname.ext|reason}}. I hope the rename was what you wanted. --Martin H.
