こんにちは。Navianさんがアップロードされている土佐くろしお鉄道阿佐線各駅にあるキャラクターの画像についてですが、これらのキャラクターについてはごめん・なはり線や高知県のサイトなどで「(C) やなせたかし」と記載があり、やなせ氏に著作権があることが明記されています。コモンズでは、著作権のある日本の屋外美術を撮影した写真は建築物を除いて受け入れが認められていません (Commons:Freedom of panorama#Japan)。このため、上記の画像について、他の同種画像とあわせて削除依頼を提出させていただきました。ご意見や反論などありましたら、上記の依頼ページまでお寄せいただけますようお願いします。

なお、ウィキペディア日本語版は画像利用の方針がコモンズと異なるため、Wikipedia:屋外美術を被写体とする写真の利用方針に定められている画像サイズの制限や著作権表示などを遵守すれば、上記のような画像でも削除対象とはなりません。その場合英語版など他のプロジェクトでは利用ができませんが、日本語版のみでの利用でも構わないということであれば、ぜひそちらへのアップロードをご検討ください。Yasu (talk) 14:58, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

はじめまして。今回はお手数をおかけして申し訳ありません。他の方が同様にキャラクターの写真をアップロードされていたので、駅という公共施設だし大丈夫なのかな？という判断でアップロードしてしまいました。画像サイズを下げて日本語版Wikimediaに上げ直します。ところで今回削除依頼に出されたのはキャラクターが主題として大写しされている写真のみのようですが、ホームの写真の隅っこに写り込んでしまっているようなものはセーフと思っていてよろしいでしょうか？--Navian (talk) 23:51, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
お返事ありがとうございます。ユーザページにあったギャラリーを消しておいでのようですが、もしかして今回の件を受けてのことでしょうか。コモンズでは、アップロードした画像が削除依頼にかけられるのは特段珍しいことではなく、多くのユーザの方が経験していることだと思います。どうか、不名誉なことだとお考えになったり、萎縮されたりすることのないようお願いします。
なお今回は、お気づきの通り「明らかにキャラクターが主題になっているもの」のみを削除依頼の対象としました。たとえばFile:Kagami station 01.jpgは駅舎が、File:Akano station 02.jpgはホームがメインであると考え、依頼には含めていません。厳密な人はこれらも不可と判断するかもしれませんが、個人的には許容範囲内であると思います。
ところで、ついでというと何なのですが、球場前駅の写真を差し替えてくださりありがとうございました。差し替え前の写真は私がアップロードしたものなのですが、逆光の上、余分なもの（階段脇に設置のテント）が写り込んでいたりして、Navianさんの写真に比べると満足のいくものではないように思います。今後ともこういった写真などで貢献していただければ幸いです。Yasu (talk) 15:15, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yasuさん、お返事ありがとうございました。ギャラリーの件についてお気遣いいただきましたが、単に日本語版Wikipediaのユーザーページと同内容のものを並行して更新するのが面倒になった（現に最近はコモンズのユーザーページのほうは更新をサボりっぱなしでした・・）ため整理しただけであり、今回のこととは関係ありませんのでご心配には及びません。未熟な腕ですが今後も写真の不足している記事の充実に貢献できたらと思っていますので、よろしくお願いします。--Navian (talk) 21:16, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
こんにちは、再びお邪魔します。すでにお気づきかもしれませんが、上記依頼の画像はすべて削除で対処されました。すでにウィキペディア日本語版への再アップロードをしていただけているようで、ウィキペディア記事に大きな影響が及ばず何よりだと思います。改めてご対応に感謝します。また、ギャラリーの件についてもご説明ありがとうございます。安心しました。
ところで、「キャラクターがはっきり主題になっているものでないもの」は認められるのか、というお尋ねについて、Commons:De minimisという公式方針がコモンズにあるようですのでご紹介します。簡単に申し上げますと「権利侵害の程度が軽微であれば全く問題ない」との内容で、たとえばこの方針ページにあるパリ・ルーヴル美術館前の広場の写真の例では、広場の中央にあるピラミッドが著作権保護の対象であるものの、この写真は広場全体をとらえたものでピラミッドのみを写したものではないため認められる、ということのようです。ですので、上で挙げたFile:Kagami station 01.jpgやFile:Akano station 02.jpgといった画像にも適用可能ではないかと考える次第です。今後のご参考になれば幸いです。Yasu (talk) 15:56, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
