(no subject)[edit]

Hello,

I saw wikipedia marked the file I uploaded "Partito Comunista (Svizzera).tif" as a copyright violation. I don't get it, I'm a member of the Party and only wanted to add the logo to the wikipedia page (I saw all the logo, of all brands, parties, and everything is showed) so how could it possibly be that I can't upload it? How do I do that?

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nylkmzra (talk • contribs) 13:12, 31 May 2019‎ (UTC)[reply]

@Nylkmzra: The fact that you're a member of the party doesn't necessarily mean you have the right to use the logo. Please contact your party's leadership to find out who has the copyright with regards to the logo and then ask that person to fill in this form. Thank you! --MrClog (talk) 13:19, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dear :@McClog:

I'm one of the lead members, and the Party owns the logo, cause we asked it to a graphic designer who made it for us in 2007. This didn't answer my question though. How do I do now to leave the logo there without any problem?

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nylkmzra (talk • contribs) 13:39, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Nylkmzra: As stated, if you'd like the logo to stay, then, please fill in or have someone fill in this form, using an official party email address. --MrClog (talk) 13:43, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Logo has not got a Copyleft. It has a Trademark. But I tried to use the license the other parties are using (and agencies, like Nintendo, too!) , but it still does not work (for you). So please, give me a hand to "respect the rules", because this is going nowhere. Thank you. - Nylkmzra

@Nylkmzra: We need to confirm that you actually represent the party, therefore, please follow the instructions I gave you above. --MrClog (talk) 19:37, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The instruction you gave us above gives us the chance to put a Copyleft on the logo, which is not what we want to do. That is the problem. I want to do it correctly, but without asking for a copyleft. - Nylkmzra

@MrClog: Nylkmzra correctly stated what the problem we are experiencing with your form is. We do not want to release our logo under a CC-BY-SA license (copyleft).

File:Sir Fabian Ware.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Autopatrol given[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. 4nn1l2 (talk) 13:04, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
