Plus the whole web site is created by both me and Mr. Abdulghaffar. Dear User, Thanks for your reply, I believe some of this images are photographed by you (Mohammad Mohammadian) but some of them doesn't belong to you, you may be able to upload the images under {{Attribution}} license but first we need to be able to verify the actual source and author of images, that's why I asked you to add proper source and author information to all of your images. are all of your pictures from http://www.kookherd.net/ website? if not please add their source too. why it is look like some of images uploaded by you are scan from books? and many of them looks old? If it is easier for you, you can write for me in Persian, I understand Persian very well and a little Arabic, but it is better for you to write in English if you can, so more Commons' users can communicate with you.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Hi,

I work for the PR Company for Palazzo Versace Gold Coast and Dubai and have permission to use the images (File:Palazzo Versace Dubai - Indicative Interior.png, File:Palazzo Versace Dubai - Indicative Interior2.png.) I have recently uploaded which you have requested be deleted. What licence will I then need to avoid you requesting they be deleted? Also, why have the two pages edited reverted back to their incorrect original status?

Thank you for the reply. I have sent a copy of written permission given to me by Emirates Sunland to use and distribute the images however I have not had a response as yet.

The two pages I was referring to were the "Palazzo Versace Australia" page and the "Palazzo Versace Dubai" page - to which the nominated images were used on.

Dear User, thank you for your reply, do you mean response from Wikimedia Commons? please notice that you will not receive any specific reply from OTRS, you should just wait until your permission get verified by OTRS members.
If you have forwarded the written permission to OTRS (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org) you should also add {{OTRS pending}} template to your images, so everybody can understands that you are waiting for your permission to get verified by OTRS members.
About those pages that you asked (Palazzo Versace Australia and Palazzo Versace Dubai) I don't know exactly what happened there, it's better you ask the user which made those changes or post a comment on article's talk page

Deleting images in use (User:Allersonfon)

Don't you think you should notify the relevant wikiprojects that are using images linked here before you go and put them up for deletion? You notified the uploader, but if they're like a lot of people[1], they're not incredibly active here and probably didn't see the notice. In the meantime, no one on the project using the image even knew it was up for deletion.--Crossmr (talk) 01:09, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for your comment, well for many reasons no, it wasn't necessary. I always check the usage of file only if I think it is necessary, that file was just uploaded less than one day before I tag it, so I didn't think it is used anywhere in this short time. Uploader or other users had almost nine days time to resolve the issue. Also anybody who wants use an image in Wikimedia projects should first check the information of image to avoid copyright violations. Best regards.   ■ MMXX^talk  04:14, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

The file was in use on english wikipedia. No one on the english wikipedia was notified that the file might be deleted. Very few people browse the commons pages for images and would have no idea there was a problem with this image. Even uploaders might not come back here unless they have another image to upload. I have uploaded several images, but I don't visit commons unless I'm here to upload an image. If there was a problem with the image, I would have had no idea unless I came back here before the few days was up. According to the time stamps, the image was already in use on the english wikipedia before you tagged it.[2], [3]. I think most people who upload images use them right away. In the future please notify the relevant talk pages for images in use. The chances of someone stumbling onto the notification on commons is extremely low.--Crossmr (talk) 04:59, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

The problem is, no interested user was given an opportunity to check the image to see if it could be saved before being deleted. The problem is an article lost an image it might have been able to retain, but the image hasn't been cached anywhere that I can find so I can't check it to see if it would have been possible to save it. I recommend you don't tag images unless you're going to give the relevant users and talk pages notices. Placing a notice on a non-active users talk page on commons is the equivalent of issuing no notice at all. No one will see it, and you can just go around deleting images left and right and no one will be the wiser until commons delinker runs through and empties out articles.--Crossmr (talk) 07:13, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Which interested user? where else I should leave a warning? on your talk page? (well I didn't know you are interested at that time.) or on article talk page? (That's not useful too, almost nobody will check that.), anyway I believe those images are copyright violation, and it seems the uploader taken them from some website, source is not very clear, if it is FON website, we need a permission from them, the user did have time to save the images (if it was even possible??) even now we can easily undelete them if someone solve the copyright problem. The article talk page on wikipedia? Many people have that on their watchlist Many people would notice that and be able to act accordingly. No one has the commons version on their watchlist and no one would visit the uploaders page on commons to see there is a problem. Currently any images on en wikipedia have the bots notify the relevant article talk pages. Lots of people respond to those all the time, so your claim that no one would check that is false. No one can solve the copyright problem because no one can see the image or try and figure out exactly where it came from and what the context might have been. So undelete requests are pointless now. The editor who uploaded it hasn't edited commons or wikipedia since then, so as I pointed out before your notice amounts to no notice at all. Absolutely no one who was a regular editor who would have been interested in that had any opportunity to evaluate the image and figure out if it could be saved. If an image is in use on an article somewhere, you should post a notice so that people who might want to save it or check it are given an opportunity to do so.--Crossmr (talk) 04:33, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

I'll post a warning on relevant article's talk page if I think it is necessary, not for obvious copyright violations which is quite impossible to solve their problem or get permission for them. anyway it is still not too late for undeleting, that image was likely from same source as this one File:Fonera2.png, so if anyone solve this image's problem then we can also undelete other one. I think that makes sense. Commons needs to realize that people on other projects don't watch the notices here. Unless uploaders are visiting daily or weekly to make uploads its unlikely they'd ever see the notice in time. People on the relevant pages would never see them until its too late.
