Template:See also[edit]

Your change at Template:See also ([1]) completely changed the purpose of the template. It was used for localizing the string "see also" before. Additionally the code now is corrupt. Could you repair these things and also the uses of the template? --::Slomox:: >< 17:35, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comments on Administrator's noticeboard[edit]

Hello, I am Rainer Rillke coming from Europe, mostly busy coding new javaScript-tools for Commons or taking photos of plants and — as an administrator — I have to watch Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems.

I had the hope that the problems around beta m were solved by someone else but this is apparently not the case.

Let's start:

The former, I proved with my diff links in the main thread you link to, the latter is not true by the same diff you link, what I said was that PierreSelim was harassing people who brought up that pointed out other peoples' bias in promoting those things, and that he should be ashamed of intimidating people. And that he shouldn't be involved when he obviously feels very strongly that there shouldn't be a child protection policy on Commons, as per my links there to his editing on the subject --Mistress Selina Kyle (talk) 22:23, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • My view of regarding to WikpediaReview (or however they call themselves): Sometimes they have valid points but the manner how they try to achieve their goals on Commons is often very disruptive. You can imagine that I have a lot to do so if they would just keep the discussion on-topic and neutral, I would be very pleased.

I am inclined to block beta m (though, the user could simply create socks and we would need a lot more time identifying them as account creation takes time), if you could present me a summary, neutral fact-based-evidence that he is involved in en:Child pornography or one of our policy-block reasons applies. While doing so, imagine, you were an administrator and have to go with the policy. Please understand that we are not the police. If you have evidence of a criminal act, please contact your next police office and the wikimedia foundation.

If you fail to do so; what do I expect? Please redact your comments to somewhat more helpful, less offensive, more neutral.

In hope of your cooperation, sincerely -- RE rillke questions? 14:39, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll put together a list then, it's not a case of a crime being committed, the crime was already committed, it's not a disputable fact kind of thing or aspersions... --Mistress Selina Kyle (talk) 15:03, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ah WR has already done one: [2] --Mistress Selina Kyle (talk) 20:25, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
http://wikipediareview.com/index.php?showtopic=37062&st=160&p=302461&mode=linear#entry302461 – I feel that it's highly probable that Beta_m once attended Carroll College in Montana. The Vladimir Mozhenkov mentioned in The St. Petersburg's Times once attended Carroll College in Montana. --Michaeldsuarez (talk) 14:45, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you should discover a possible sock of beta m, let us know or directly notify the WMF, please. (And please be careful; call it a possible sock and provide evidence on wiki). This does not need lots of words, a simple list is sufficient. The more evidence you provide the less discussion is required. -- RE rillke questions? 15:55, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File:Edith Garrud-- the Suffragette who knew jujutsu by Tony Wolf and Kathrynne Wolf (2009), LULU 5300757 (original artwork by Arthur Wallis Mills, 1910).png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
