File:Академік Олександр Богомолець.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Licenses[edit]

Why are you substituting superior licenses with inferior ones. It's vandalism, please stop it. Broichmore (talk) 12:40, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Try answering the question, why isn't it? Show me some policy. This is a known author. Broichmore (talk) 12:45, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Broichmore, You don't need to use PD-Art for photos, it's for pictures. Understand?--Mista for 4 (talk) 12:48, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's debatable. Some think that photographs are art. You could have nit picked and taken out just PD-Art from the string. Instead you took out the death date too. These revisions your making are, still, degrades and in the main useless. Had you just done the former I would still ask why your making non constructive edits. Show me the policy. Broichmore (talk) 12:58, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • PD-Art is used when uploading a photograph taken by somebody else to assert that the photograph can have no independent copyright as it is simply a faithful reproduction of an old, public domain, two-dimensional work of art. There's no matter would this artwork be a drawing, a painting, a photograph or something else. Since you are making bulk edits, clearly not understanding enough about the licensing policy and Commons' rules, your account is blocked for a week and will be blocked further if you continue with unapproved actions.
