Ich hab den Geotag hinzugefügt - der Luftschutzeingang befindet sich vor dem Gebäude am Eingang der Rathausgasse. Wenn du da bist, schau dir auch mal das Gebäude genau an, das ist NS-Baustil in Reinkultur. Und mach ein Foto davon, wir haben noch keins --Michael Sch. (talk) 09:19, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Picture of the Year voting round 1 open[edit]

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

  1. Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
  2. This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
  3. Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

Schauinslandbilder[edit]

Hallo Michael, ich musste einige Bilder von Dir korrigieren, die Du fälschlicherweise am Schauinsland verortet hast. Allerdings konnte ich Schauinsland - 06.JPG und Schauinsland - 05.JPG nicht zuordnen, fürchte aber, dass die auch nicht am Schauinsland entstanden sind. Die Bilder sind bei einer Wanderung am Schauinsland entstanden. Mit der Seilbahn hoch und dann ins Tal nach Horben gewandert - für mich gehört das zum Schauinsland. Bild 06 dürfte sogar nur wenige Meter unterhalb des Aussichtturmes gemacht worden sein, bei 05 bin ich mir nicht mehr ganz sicher - das ist immerhin 7 Jahre her --Michael Sch. Ich muss leider gestehen, dass mir die Quelle nicht mehr geläufig ist. Ist immerhin auch schon 4 Jahre her. Ich weiß, dass ich die Karte damals aus einem Buch gescannt hatte und das sie definitiv zeitgenössisch, also PD-alt ist. Ich weiß nur nicht mehr, welches Buch das ist und dieses ist wieder in die ewigen Magazine der UB Freiburg gewandert. Wie ist das weitere Vorgehen? --Michael Sch. Danke für deine Initiative[edit]

auch wenn eine Totallöschung von Bildern von Thomas Wolf illusorisch ist.

Tatsache ist aber, dass es aktuell gerade eine sehr harte Auseinandersetzung zu diesem Thema bei Wikimedia Österreich gibt, denn es hat sich herausgestellt, dass sich die Wikipedia-Abmahnmafia (O-Ton ORF, in einer Sendung vom 9. November mit ca 300.000 Zusehern) nach Österreich verlagert hat. Die Akteure sind dieselben (ein paar neue wurden geworben), der Rechtsanwalt ist ebenso ein österreichischer Wikipedianer.

Was wir erreichen können ist, dass zumindest - in einem ersten Schritt - Förderungen für Fotografen (und gerade die Abmahner werden bzw. wurden überdurchschnittlich stark von den Chaptern gefördert) eindämmt. Ich bin der Meinung, dass es nicht im Sinne der Spender ist, dass Wikipedia einen Abmahnzirkus veranstaltet durch eine kleine Gruppe von Personen.

Falls es dich interessiert, ich habe vor inzwischen mehr als drei Jahren eine sehr heftige Auseinandersetzung gegen einen der Abmahnanwälte und gegen eine Fotografin, welche für ihr Abmahnunwesen bekannt ist. Die Informationen findet man beginnend hier, dann wagte es sogar ihr Rechtsanwalt (ein Wikipedianer!) mich anzuschreiben, und hier wurde dann von ihm versucht, den hier von mir veröffentlichten Briefwechsel administrativ zu löschen.

Die ganze Sache war so heftig, dass Martina Nolte sich danach zurückgezogen hat und ziemlich still geworden ist. Erst vor kurzem habe ich sie wieder mal gesehen. Natürlich ist es so, dass diese Personengruppe im Hintergrund arbeitet, sie sind nicht interessiert daran, mit ihren Aktivitäten im Rampenlicht zu stehen.

Die Sache ist nun bis Mitte Februar etwas stillgelegt, Wikimedia Österreich ist am Scheideweg (nicht das erste Mal), man wird eine Lösung finden, welche ganz sicher auch nur die geringste Förderung erlauben wird, wenn sich die Fotografen nicht eindeutig deklarieren. Zumindest eine Entscheidung wird dann getroffen werden.

Nur damit du es weißt, jeder Beitrag von mir wird genauestens überwacht von dieser Abmahngruppe. Ich muss richtig lachen darüber. Das Schöne dabei ist aber: Wir sind die Guten und sitzen am längeren Ast.

Wiki Loves Earth 2018[edit]

Hallo Michael Sch.,

im Namen von Organisationsteam und Jury danke ich Dir für Deine Teilnahme bei Wiki Loves Earth Deutschland.

Im Jahr 2018 wurden ebenso wie im Vorjahr etwa 24.000 Fotos hochgeladen, von denen viele die Artikel und Listen der Wikipedia illustrieren werden. Die Teilnehmerzahl lag diesmal bei 683, im Vorjahr waren es 1063.

Unsere Jury hat die Top100 der Bilder aus Deutschland ausgewählt. Die zehn bestplatzierten Fotos nehmen an der internationalen Ausscheidung teil.

Falls Du Lust auf einen weiteren Fotowettbewerb hast: Im September läuft Wiki Loves Monuments, wo Bilder von denkmalgeschützten Gebäuden eingereicht werden können.

Wiki Loves Earth 2019[edit]

Hallo Michael Sch.,

vom 1. bis 31. Mai 2019 kannst Du wieder beim Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth Deutschland (WLE 2019) teilnehmen. Gesucht sind selbst aufgenommene Landschafts- und Naturfotos aus Schutzgebieten in Deutschland.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg kann diese Übersichtsseite dienen.

WLE 2019 kann nur durchgeführt werden, wenn weitere Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen unser Team verstärken. Es geht unter anderem um die Organisation in der Wikipedia und das Sortieren der Bilder auf Commons. Über Art und Umfang der Beteiligung entscheidest Du selbst.

Wie in den Vorjahren übernimmt eine Vorjury ab Anfang Mai die Vorauswahl der Bilder. Auch daran kannst Du Dich gern beteiligen. Bei Interesse trage Dich bitte unter WLE-Vorjury ein, das Passwort kommt per E-Mail.

Besonders engagierte Freiwillige werden für die Jury benötigt. Wenn Du vom 12. bis 14. Juli in Fulda die besten Bilder küren willst, melde Dich auf der Jury-Seite.

Wiki Loves Earth 2020[edit]

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. Mai bis zum 30. Juni 2020 findet zum achten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth statt. Deutschland ist zum siebten Mal dabei. Dabei können unter anderem Nationalparks, Naturschutzgebiete, Geotope und Naturdenkmäler fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Dieses Jahr ist es aufgrund der Ausgangsbeschränkungen schwieriger aktuelle Fotos zu machen, deshalb läuft der Wettbwerb dieses Mal zwei Monate. Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben Naturdenkmälern wie alten Bäumen oder Naturparks im Gebirge und am Meer können Geotope wie Quellen und Aufschlüsse oder FFH-Gebiete fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. In den letzten Jahren sind zahlreiche neue Listen und Artikel in diesen Bereichen entstanden, für die wir uns über Fotos freuen. Als Einstieg für die Suche nach Motiven hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du hier und vor allem unter dieser Anleitung. Falls du im Moment nicht wie sonst in die Natur fahren kannst, findest du vielleicht in den Tiefen deiner Festplatte oder auf dem Smartphone noch interessante Fotos.

Du möchtest am Wettbewerb teilnehmen, dir fehlt aber die richtige Technik? Dann wirf doch mal einen Blick in den Technikpool und das Technikleihportal von Wikimedia Deutschland! Dort findest du Kameras, Objektive und Zubehör verschiedenster Art. Sollte noch Technik fehlen, die deiner Meinung nach angeschafft werden sollte, freut sich Wikimedia Deutschland über dein Feedback zum Technikpool.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, vom 1. Mai bis 31. Juli 2020 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die im August tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Earth 2020 in Deutschland.
