Ciao dato che oggi giorno la provincia di monza confina con quella di bergamo, bisognerebbe modificare la cartina nella pagina Lombardia allungando il confine della provincia di monza con la provincia di bergamo. Dato che la cartina l'ho già modificata io, ma non riesco a inserirla, te la potrei gent inviare a te così la sostutuisci te? Non sapevo che Coronate avesse cambiato nome: non c'è più religione, non fai a tempo a rilassarti un attimo che cambiano nome alle città. Quaggiù sulle sponde del Tevere siamo evidentemente rimasti all'antica ;-)

Ho visto che hai messo un font "sans serif" (io avevo scelto, perché erano nelle lista dei font "compatibili", Times, e poi ho provato con DejaVu)

Cosa altro hai cambiato? Ma soprattutto con quale SW? Sai se corre anche su Mac? Oppure sai a chi posso chiedere aiuto per essere "autonomo"?

Ciao, ti chiedo un ulteriore favore per il File:Battaglia di Coronate.svg: è stato rilevato un refuso nel cartiglio in alto a sinistra: l'anno è il 689, non il 698 (svista già presente nel png originale). Siccome sono totalmente inabile nel modificarlo, e visto che avevi già avuto la cortesia di prenderti cura del file, non è che potresti, se hai un minuto, rettificare anche questo errorino? Sarebbe una gran cosa. Nonostante il mio riordino e sistemazione in categorie uniformi e standard, la situazione dei comuni italiani resta piena di problemi e abbastanza disastrosa. Appena finito il lavoro relazionerò al bar italiano sul lavoro fatto e su quello che c'è da fare (il che è immenso!). Quando anche tu saprai che cosa è carente e c'è da fare, mi potrai dire tu stesso come la vedi e che cosa si potrebbe fare secondo te di proficuo e di razionale. A me sembra grammaticalmente scorretto per alcune regioni: Lazio, Marche, Veneto e, forse, Molise. Sarebbe "nel Lazio, nelle Marche, nel Veneto. Ovviamente non ho idea di come si possa cambiare. Forse "nella regione Lazio, Marche etc."

Riordino Comuni Italiani

Ciao Luigi. Volevo avvisarti che sul Bar Italiano mi sono deciso a pubblicare la mia comunicazione sul lavoro che ho svolto di riordino dei comuni italiani e a cui mi sto dedicando dal giugno scorso. La pubblico ora benchè il lavoro non sia ancora del tutto completato, perchè penso che sia oramai inderogabile, dato l'egregio lavoro che stai facendo anche tu, e che rischia di rendere fra poco desueta la mia comunicazione. Mi riferisco naturalmente alle nostre discussioni sulla necessità di spostare certe categorie da Cities a Municipalities. Quindi per intanto prendi la mia comunicazione col beneficio dell'inventario. Sono già all'estero per le festività di fine anno e non sempre mi è possibile di intervenire prontamente nei dibattiti. Ti auguro buone feste! Non dovrebbe essere nulla di difficile (per te), perchè è da ricalcare altri già esistenti, con qualche piccola modifica. Allora, è da giorni che sto lavorando alla realizzazione del Catalogo del Museo Archeologico di Napoli, e sto per concludere la ricognizione e la verifica delle immagini esistenti. Il catalogo l’ho realizzato sulla falsariga di quelli che Giovanni Dall’Orto ha realizzato per le foto dei maggiori fotografi in bianco e nero, ma a differenza di quelli che sono organizzati rigorosamente per numero di catalogo, per il Museo non ho voluto prescindere dalle attuali collezioni e collocazione dei pezzi, affinché esso resti comunque uno strumento di ricerca e non solo un marasma di oggetti, ordinatissimo numericamente, ma che fa riferimento unicamente ai criteri espositivi dei Borboni, oggi non più validi e non più applicati. Comunque in incipit ho spiegato quali erano le suddivisioni concepite in epoca borbonica, quindi questo dato strettamente “inventariale” non è comunque andato perso. Detto questo, ora vorrei passare a dare una descrizione completa ed ordinata ad ogni pezzo del Museo, e per questo penso che sia necessario – e sia oramai giunto il momento – di realizzare un Template adeguato. Ho dato dapprima uno sguardo al Template “Painting” (giusto perché ci sono inciampato relativamente all’affresco di Medea), ma naturalmente quello è calibrato più su di una pinacoteca, e quindi male si adatta ai reperti di ogni genere che possono esistere in un museo archeologico. Ho notato fra l’altro che il Template Painting di cui tu ti sei servito per la realizzazione dei template regionali è alquanto diverso da quest’altro template painting applicato qui: difatti nel tuo la datazione (Year) si riferisce all’opera d’arte mentre in quest’ultimo si riferisce alla realizzazione dell’immagine. Ho guardato allora cosa veniva applicato in musei archeologici, ed ho scoperto che per quelli romani (p.es. i Musei Vaticani, o i Musei Capitolini) è stato realizzato un Template che è praticamente lo stesso, e funzionerebbe abbastanza bene anche per le mie necessità. Per esempio questo dei Musei Capitolini mi piace molto, e corrisponde quasi in tutto a quello che vorrei venisse realizzato per il MANN: la dizione mi sembra scritta in modo corretto (per noi sarebbe “Museo Archeologico Nazionale, Napoli, Italia”), anche per il colore dello sfondo avevo pensato proprio a questo vinaccia che si avvicina molto al cd. “rosso borbonico” applicato a molti palazzi da loro edificati. Quello che cambierei sarebbe piuttosto l’ordine di alcune voci: 1) la Location la metterei al primo posto, subito sotto l’indicazione del nome del museo; poi metterei Artist; poi Description; poi inserirei una voce mancante, quella della datazione Year; poi Dimensions; poi Credit Line; poi Accession Number; poi References; poi Source; ed infine Other Versions. Il colore rosa di sfondo lo riserverei solo ai campi delle informazioni strettamente pertinenti l’opera, quindi Artist, Description, Year, ed eventualmente (ma non per forza) Dimensions. Cosa ne pensi? Si potrebbe fare? Per inciso poi mi (e ti) chiedo: ma per fare un Template bisogna chiedere un’autorizzazione, o una approvazione da parte di qualche admin? Categoria

Ti ringrazio per la creazione di Category:Raduno Auto Storiche di Medole. Tuttavia, visto che le foto sono relative sia al raduno auto che a quello moto e di varie annate, credo sarebbe più esatto il titolo "Raduni Auto e Moto Storiche a Medole". Se potessi farlo tu... Probabilmente non mi sono spiegato bene.

Più che per le diverse annate, il problema nasce dal fatto che sono due distinte manifestazioni: una per le automobili e una per le motociclette. Ne discende che le foto sono miste tra auto e moto.

Stante la scarsa importanza settoriale di entrambe le manifestazioni e la sempre incerta periodicità, anch'io ritengo inutile creare sottocategorie, suddividendo per tipo di veicoli e annate. Per manifestazioni tanto marginali, una categoria basta e avanza.

Tuttavia, il titolo è fuorviante, perché se cercassi fotografie di motociclette, certamente non le cercherei in una categoria intitolata "Raduno Auto Storiche di Medole".

Se non va bene "Raduni Auto e Moto Storiche a Medole", si può mettere al singolare, oppure titolare "Raduno Veicoli storici a Medole", in modo che chi legge capisca che si tratta di foto relative sia alle 2ruote, sia alle 4ruote.

volevo chiederti cortesemente di togliere l'avviso sulle mie immagini di abuso del copyright, non avevo capito bene quella parte e mi sono basato su quello fatto da altri,ho aggiunto le fonti interne di wikimedia commons. Sto pubblicando le immagini in png solo perché sono ancora in fase beta il mio scopo, una volta completato la mappa con tutti futuri sviluppi del sistema su ferro di Roma, è quello di pubblicare il file svg completo di livelli e di rilasciarlo come pubblico dominio, ho apprezzato tantissimo il tuo suggerimento e ti prego in futuro di evidenziare eventuali problemi grafici.... la mia prossima modifica sarà legata alla linea FR1.

Immagino che la modifica riguardi il codice interno del file, che non conosco minimamente; sono un perfetto principiante e ho usato semplicemente il nuovo tool Google docs. Ciao Luigi. Vengo a te per la soluzione di un problema. Se vai nella Category:Province of South Tyrol troverai che le municipalità sono raddoppiate. Il Trentino-Alto Adige come sicuramente saprai è oramai organizzato (dopo feroci discussioni di un anno fa) nelle province di Trento e del South Tyrol. Ora noto che l'applicazione del template {{ComuneItaly|BZ}} ha portato alla creazione della Category:Municipalities in province of Bolzano dove ci finiscono i comuni cui è stato applicato il template. Ci ho messo la redirect, ma questo chiaramente non basta perché i comuni ci finiscono dentro comunque; invece debbono finire nella Category:Municipalities in province of South Tyrol (dove del resto già ci stanno). Foto francobolli mondiali

Ciao, scusa se stresso ancora te ma, dato che mi hai fatto la cortesia di caricare i francobolli sovietico-russi per conto mio tempo fa, forse sai rispondermi. Dato che vedo molte licenze compatibili utilizzate su francobolli di varia nazionalità chiedevo se e come è possibile caricare francobolli di stati africani in genere, sempre alla ricerca di immagini alternative alle foto per corredare voci sull'aviazione (mezzi, infrastrutture, personaggi, compagnie aeree...). Dato che non leggo nessuno degli stati africani che mi interessano, e tra l'altro è citato solo il Sud Africa quando sono certo, perché sono andato a fare una ricerca con il lanternino, ci sono anche quelli egiziani con apposito template, o mi rassegno o li carico in locale con la licenza generica simil-fair use che si usa per i francobolli in it.wiki. In particolare avevo due francobolli del Benin, ma vedo che uno di quel paese è già presente (con licenza però sbagliata), caricato a corredo di una voce sui funghi, e proposto anche per la cancellazione. Ma guarda un po'. Ritiro immediatamente la mia frase di chiusura: non voglio affatto farti lavorare di meno (nè source, nè qui :-): troppo utile! ).

Rispondimi pure qui che seguiamo meglio il corso della discussione. GIMP, come vedo da una precedente discussione! Ti segnalo un utente molto interessante, se già non lo conosci: en:s:Inductiveload. Uno che maneggia i batch di GIMP, e anche,a fondo, i file djvu (particolarmente interessante l'inserimento nei djvu dei layer di testo). Trovi sulla sua pagina utente un'impressionante raccolta di link ai suoi script. Io non ho ancora cominciato a dissodarli.

Ti chiederei - vista la tua esperienza in Commons - di esporre in it.source le tue proposte per diminuire il grado di disordine dei nostri contributi djvu e pdf (e anche sulla questione delle ilustrazioni, fregi eccetera: i jpg-png-svf di supporto); magari dicendoci qualcosina sull'astruso namespace Creator che dovremo deciderci a usare. Caro Luigi,

ho appena visto il Le pitture notabili di Bergamo.djvu e la descrizione che ne hai dato.

Mi sono imbarazzato: è da un po' di tempo che aggiorno le descrizioni dei libri di Wikisource con le indicazioni da te proposte qui e usando dunque come esempio Il Principe.djvu, eppure vedo ora che nel descrivere un tuo upload usi una metodologia antiquata.

Dato che su commons mi muovo con alquanto impaccio e dato che sto usando diverso tempo nel namespace Creator e nella sistemazione di descrizioni precedenti volevo chiederti se sto sbagliando qualcosa o cosa debba fare... - εΔω 10:58, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Non so se sei al corrente del progetto "autocompilazione del template Creator", che stiamo sperimendando da it.wikisource ma che sta estendendosi; Emilio Salgari è proprio uno dei template Creator creati semi-automaticamente e la traduzione in inglese del contenuto dei campi Attività di it.wikipedia è un tassello che ancora manca. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Dear Luigi Chiesa,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

• In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
• In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

1. 157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
2. In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
3. In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.

Buongiorno, vedo nella relativa scheda che lei ha caricato l'immagine in oggetto, mettendo come attuale ubicazione il Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza. Più spesso trovo indicato che questo quadro è al Louvre. Può confermare la sua affermazione? Sa per caso se esistono più versioni del medesimo ritratto? Per esempio ce n'è un'altra molto simile sempre di V. Catena, del 1525, attualmente presso la Civica Pinacoteca di Como, che differisce da questo principalmente per l'iscrizione GEORG·TRISSINUS posta in alto. Vedo un (corretto) spostamento massiccio di categorie nelle immagini prodotte con CropTool. Bisognerebbe suggerire all'autore User:Danmichaelo qualche modifica del tool per generare categorie corrette o sopprimere quelle inesatte. Portable Antiquities Scheme

Hi, I can see you've used or uploaded some of these photographs in the past, so you may be interested in an early heads-up that I have started uploading all photographs from the Portable Antiquities Scheme, which should be around 400,000 photographs of archaeologically interesting artefacts, found by the public in England and Wales. It will take a few weeks to finish, I expect. I tweeted about it yesterday here and you can find the project page along with GLAM reports and other links like useful searches of the collection here. Wiki Loves Monuments ti aspetta, con centinaia di nuovi comuni fotografabili

Concorso Wiki Loves Monuments Italia 2018 (English version)

Gentile Luigi Chiesa, ti ringraziamo ancora una volta per la tua passata partecipazione a Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM). Il più grande concorso fotografico del mondo si svolge anche questo settembre per documentare e promuovere il patrimonio culturale italiano, con una licenza copyright libera.

Quest'anno è doppiamente facile partecipare: gli oggetti fotografabili coprono quasi 1000 comuni in più, grazie all'adesione di centinaia di nuovi enti fra cui Roma, e alla possibilità di fotografare circa 2000 alberi monumentali. Controlla le liste di monumenti fotografabili! Carica tutte le foto che hai e magari organizza una visita presso i monumenti che ancora non hanno una foto.

Quest'oggi il Parlamento europeo ha respinto la proposta di estendere la libertà di panorama. E allora scattiamo e pubblichiamo tutte le foto che possiamo, almeno per questi monumenti per cui ci è legalmente consentito!
