Commons:Picture of the Year/2007

Hello :)

Hi,

First add a link to Commons:Picture of the Year/2007/lang for the Italian one (you should translate the whole name, so something like Commons:Immagine dell'anno/2007).

Then translate template:2007POTY at template:2007POTY/it. And at the top of each of the pages, put {{2007POTY/it}}. The three important pages to really translate are the front page with summary information (Commons:Picture of the Year/2007), the voting page (Commons:Picture of the Year/2007/Voting) and the committee page (Commons:Picture of the Year/2007/Committee).

Thank you for your reply regarding the Commons photography Guide. I am sorry that I did not consider the language issues too much when I sent the invitations to participate for those photographers who have provided the project with numerous great photographs - like yourself. I perfectly understand that participating to the guide will be extremely onerous if you feel that writing English requires a bit effort. However, I trust that if the guide starts to evolve, you can be contacted for short comments and the like?

And by the way, unfortunately the project page was deleted because of lack of media (I suppose). An undeletion request has been filed and I hope to have the page up on later day. I will notify you on the further developments. --Thermos 03:44, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
