Hi - several of the images you uploaded are listed on Commons:Untagged_images#L, because they have no license info. Please add the appropriate Commons:Copyright tags to the images description pages, as images without license info will have to be deleted. Please also add the author, source and date of creation if applicable. Thanks! -- Duesentrieb 13:07, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Added GFDL tags. The author, source and date of creation is already listed on each image's description. Lee M 01:48, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hi, please add a copyright tag to this photo. Thuresson 21:38, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I meant to delete that image. It was superseded by Image:Donatello david plaster replica right torso2 1000px wide.jpg which has almost identical composition but much higher resolution. Lee M 02:47, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Um, the next question being, how do I delete an image page? Lee M 23:27, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
One of the administrators will have to do the deletion. You can put a tag on the image description page, {{Redundant|[[:Image:Donatello david plaster replica right torso2 1000px wide.jpg]]}} and somebody will hopefully delete it quickly. Thuresson 23:58, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the help. Tis done. Lee M 13:42, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

THE FILE YOU UPLOADED IN 2016 SHOWS A COPY OF THE PAINTING - PLEASE REVERT TO THE 2013 UPLOAD WHICH SHOWS THE ORIGINAL PAINTING. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.31.254.221 (talk) 12:49, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I should know the difference?! And please don't shout. Anyway, reverted. Lee M (talk) 16:55, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Les Lucioles[edit]

The larger image shows much more details, especially in the darker areas. I don't understand your reverting. --Szczebrzeszynski (talk) 18:06, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • The larger image looks very grainy and fuzzy. To my mind, most of the "details" you refer to are simply noise and grain introduced by the image being blown up in Photoshop. I suspect the original used for the big version has been upscaled to at least twice its native dimensions. Compare also a black and white version posted on Flickr, based on a photograph from a book. Although still somewhat grainy, it is sharper and shows more detail than the big Commons reproduction.Lee M (talk) 18:24, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
