NATO Warsaw Pact 1973[edit]

There's an error on your map - it lists the status of forces of NATO vs. Warsaw Pact in 1973. In that year, however, Spain was *not* a member of NATO. 209.195.164.34 16:07, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your submission of Image:Nuvola-like mail internet.PNG. While all submissions are useful, do you think you might be able to supply a better quality version of the same, or similar, content? In many cases, the largest and highest resolution possible is the most useful version to have available. (MediaWiki has automatic resizing functionality, so there is no need for multiple versions of the same image at different sizes, users can select any size and the software will generate and cache the needed resolution on the fly.)

If you can supply the same exact image as Image:Nuvola-like mail internet.PNG at a larger resolution (or media at a higher bitrate, etc.), please just upload it over the original, users will get the new higher quality version with no further effort on your part. If on the other hand, the content is only similar, it is best to select a new image name, as there may be uses already where some aspect of the existing media was key to the usage. In the latter case, if you can provide a crosslink reference to the new image in the older one and vice versa, that will be extremely helpful.

Stowarzyszenie Wikimedia Polska zaprasza Cię na warsztaty fotograficzne, które odbędą się w Łodzi, 1-3 maja 2010. Twój wkład do Wikimedia Commons wskazuje, że możesz wiele skorzystać z udziału w warsztatach i podzielić się swoim doświadczeniem fotograficznym z innymi. Warsztaty są skierowane do:

  • osób już wgrywających mniejsze czy większe ilości zdjęć do Wikimedia

Commons - niezależnie od ich jakości

  • fototoamatorów - nie związanych dotąd z projektami Wikimedia
  • zawodowych fotografów - w charakterze doradców i wykładowców

Nie ma znaczenia jaki typ fotografii preferujesz - w Wikimedia Commons jest miejsce zarówno dla portrecistów, dokumentalistów, jak i fotografów pejzażu miejskiego i przyrody. Wikiwarsztaty będą miały charakter kameralny (max. 40-50 osób) i trwały przez weekend 1-3 maja 2010 <sobota-poniedziałek>, Zajęcia będą się odbywały w Łódzkim Domu Kultury oraz w plenerze. Organizatorzy zapewniają w ramach opłaty konferencyjnej (50 zł od osoby) - nocleg( PTSM na ul. Zamenhoffa), wyżywienie (obiady) i bezpłatny dostęp do Internetu w trakcie obrad.

Hello.

Can you update File:Map of 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption.png and File:Buildings destroyed by 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption.png? On 10 November 2021, a second lava flow reached the sea at Playa de los Guirres (Los Guirres beach).

In the map File:Map of 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption.png, can you shift the square white label for the village of Todoque further to the south, to the actual coordinates where the center/core village of Todoque is (was) actually located?
In the detailed map File:Buildings destroyed by 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption.png, the central location of the village of Todoque, is shown according to its coordinates.
Importantly, can you find and add a source for File:Map of 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption.png?
A user in German Wikipedia wants to remove the map File:Map of 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption.png for these two reasons, in the article de:Todoque. See also the talk page of de:Diskussion:Todoque where this issue is actually discussed (which can be translated via Google Translate).
This map is a very good map, like all your maps, which I think should stay in that article, because it is complementary to the excellently detailed map File:Buildings destroyed by 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption.png.
Can you do this small change in the map, and find and add a source? Please do not think, I am making a fuss. Users in German Wikipedia, insist on this.
