Hi, I argued about that deletion but the picture was deleted without any answer. I asked to read the reasons I had given 11 days before about the same picture. I had uploaded the cc-by-sa license in the book (a picture with two pages in the book showing that). Dear @Trade and reviewers, recently Robotika-azala-UEU-2011.jpɡ̟ was undeleted after a similar discussion. This image as other images published by Udako Euskal Unibertsitatea (UEU, Basque Summer University) has licence CC-BY-SA 3.0.
Please, see https://www.ueu.eus/ohar-legala, the webpage where UEU states permissions for its contents. The 2nd point in Section "Jabetza intelektual eta industriala" ("Intellectual and industrial property") is the following textː "Creative Commons Aitortu-PartekatuBerdin 3.0". That is the equivalent in Basque for CC-BY-SA 3.0.
The sentence "Bestalde, Web gunetik deskargatu daitezkeen doako edukiak, testuak, artxiboak eta abar Creative Commons Aitortu-PartekatuBerdin 3.0 lizentziapean daude." translated into English is the followingː "On the other hand, free content, texts, archives, etc. that can be downloaded from the website are licensed under the Creative Commons BY-SA 3.0 licence."
This image is a bookcover published in the webpage of the book. That bookcover can be freely downloaded from that page, so, taking into account what has been explained in the previous paragraph, it has licence CC-BY-SA 3.0.
That licence has been used to upload more than 20 bookcovers of this publisher, you can see them here.

Today, before uploading three images ( File:Natsaha AritzTrueba Aquarium3.png
File:Natsaha AritzTrueba Aquarium1.jpg and File:Natsaha AritzTrueba REC.jpg) I had agreed with their author that he would send an email to the address "permissions-es@wikimedia.org".
The author (Aritz Trueba) sent the email one hour ago, he accepts the CC-BY-SA licence for the three images. I hope this will be enough for the all thethree images. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks. Ksarasola (talk) 23:24, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi, @Rosenzweig. It was Gene Yurre's son (Josu Yurre) who provided me all the photographs in the category Category:Gene_Yurre. I just upload them and completed the information related to these photographs. Sorry, @Rosenzweig, I did not know Boris Lipnitzki was so a famous photographer, and that there are problems to publish their photographs. I know the family used the photographs in a book (Gene Yurre bidegilea: dantzaren menturan, denboraren mugan 1928-2008), so I suppose they have the license. It's not that he is famous, it is that his works are still protected by copyright, and Wikimedia Commons only accepts free works. Any permissions would need to be sent by the rights holder(s) directly per e-mail. See COM:VRT. Regards --Rosenzweig τ 13:01, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
