Thanks for uploading File:Bakasana Yoga-Asana Nina-Mel.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

You have forgotten to add a license template. --Túrelio (talk) 08:24, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Could you tell me Which exact licence template should I add if I'm allowed to post the images.

At last I've got the answer from OTRS (Mehdi) He put this - is it what I should add?: |Permission={{OTRS|2013032510004259}}

watermarks[edit]

Hi Kennguru, we prefer images without watermarks. Anyway, you should be aware that per the CC-BY-SA license anybody is entitled to remove the watermark from the images. --Túrelio (talk) 08:25, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Túrelio - the uploaded photo is a copyright material of Nina Mel, Yoga Teacher and I have full permissions to use her photos. Even the Yoga journal link you mentioned is her paid advertisement and yoga journal doesn't have any copyright of Nina Mel photos. If you need her confirmation, please send her an e-mail to: nina@n-code.ru I confirm that this photo is free to use in Wikipedia.

Could you please^ help me improve the description of photos, as I don't know how to add the copyright tag that meets all wikipedia rules and restrictions. Thank you.

Best regards, Alexey ( Kennguru (talk) 10:25, 20 March 2013 (UTC) )[reply]

Hi Alexey,
if I understand you correctly, you are not the photographer, right? Then, who is the photographer? If these images show Mrs. Nina Mel, as I understand it, then she herself can hardly be the photographer. --Túrelio (talk) 10:47, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Whoever is the photographer or the rights holder, you need to provide his/her written permission to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org (OTRS). See here for the procedure and for a permission-template: Commons:OTRS (or in Russian: Commons:OTRS/ru). Providing the permission is the task of the uploader. --Túrelio (talk) 10:51, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Túrelio I addressed the same question to Mrs. Nina Mel and double checked it with her today again, and she assures me that these exact photos are her own copyright as she made it using tripod at her home yoga-studio at different times. That is why I put watermarks "by Nina Mel" on all the images, but you asked to delete them - so I did it. If you'd like I can forward you the email from Mrs. Mel that I've received today.

Best regards

Don't forward it to me, but to OTRS, see address above. --Túrelio (talk) 12:58, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Thank you.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
