Thanks for uploading File:Chang'e 1 Atlas.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

File:NASA astronaut Shannon Walker in 2009.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

@Herbythyme: I don't understand what's wrong. I made those 2 schemas myself using Figma, a free online software. Could you please indicate me what I did wrong when I put those images on Commons, so that I correct the error I may have made ? --Kaynouky (talk) 13:33, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It look very like the image that is [ https://www.space.com/china-mars-mission-tianwen-1-rolls-out.html here] which would make it derivative of that? --Herby talk thyme 14:30, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Herbythyme: Yes I used tracing (if that's the correct word in english), I used it as a base if you'd like. The original image is of poor quality, so I made a new one, guessing what to draw when the quality of the original was too low to be readable. I also changed some part (like the high gain antenna and the position of the chinese flag) because they didn't correspond to the actual rover. I don't understand the problem in fact. Tracing is forbidden ? Or I must change the colors maybe ? Changing the form wouldn't make any sense since it's the exact same rover that is represented on both. --Kaynouky (talk) 14:38, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
To me that is "derivative" of another person's work. I understand your intention however I'm not sure that we can really accept that here. --Herby talk thyme 15:16, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Herbythyme: So what do I do ? There is only one exemplary of this rover. Its dimensions are precise and still. If I change the angle of view, will it be "new" ? Will it be "unpublished" ? If I change all the colors, will it be a different image ? If I change the forms, then it's not the same rover, and my schema is inaccurate. If i mirror it, will it be enough ? I just don't see how I can get out of this. I must draw it out of nothing ? Even if the result is exactly the same because it is the same rover ? Just look at this schema [ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Chang%27e_1_Sch%C3%A9ma_L%C3%A9gend%C3%A9.png here], it's based on the one you can find here [ https://earth.esa.int/web/eoportal/satellite-missions/c-missions/chang-e-1 here]. The original was very low quality, and I made a new one with different colors and far better quality. And in the end, they don't even look the same. But they are the same angle, same probe, same dimensions. Mine is just more precise and with colors. What is the difference ? I don't get it. If I change the color of the rover, would it be enough to be different ? Why is my schema of Chang'e 1 different enough and this one not ?...--Kaynouky (talk) 15:29, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Let me think about this and look around. The trouble is that to what ever degree you have copied someone else's work but... By the way your en is excellent . Best --Herby talk thyme 16:29, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Herbythyme: Oh thanks that's very nice ^^ It took me hours to do, and that's why I'm so panicked as you may have noticed. I did this schema for the sole purpose of using it to illustrate wikipedia, if it's refused, nowhere else to put it than the trash can :/ I didn't realize that the fact it looks so much like its model, which is logic in the end, would be such a problem. If you have any suggestions, any advises on how to make this schema acceptable for Wikipedia Commons, I would gladly and happily comply. There are also a lots of schema I was planning to do (Tianwen-1 orbiter, Yutu and Yutu 2, Chang'e 5 T1 etc) using the same method. So really advices on how to manage the copyright problems are very very welcomed ! In any way, keep me updated on what you do/decide about this schema. I can't start a new one until I know about the fate of this one :/ Again, thanks for your time, and I apologize if I've been rude at any moment. --Kaynouky (talk) 18:29, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Herbythyme: I've changed my mind, feel free to delete those schemas, I already removed them from the wikipedia pages they were on. I will no longer use this method to draw schemas. If I happen to draw schemas again, they'll be unpublished without any doubts. Have a nice day. --Kaynouky (talk) 21:41, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Emirates Mars Mission[edit]

Hi Kaynouky, Nice work on File:Tianwen-1 transfer orbit and TCM.png and File:Orbital trajectory of Tianwen-1 around Mars.png. I was wondering if you'd like to make an image or two for Emirates Mars Mission using a similar style? I'd be happy to do it myself but I thought you might enjoy it. As you probably know, both missions and their Wikipedia articles are going to receive a lot of attention. nagualdesign 18:51, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

References: [1] seems good. [2] might be okay. nagualdesign 19:05, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Nagualdesign: Hi ! To be honest I'm not sure that this is necessary considering that File:Animation of Emirates Mars Mission around Mars.gif and File:Animation of Emirates Mars Mission around Sun.gif already exist. --Kaynouky (talk) 21:05, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I just discovered your work such as File:Oumuamua orbit at perihelion.png. I've already seen several of your images without knowing they were from you. They're great ! --Kaynouky (talk) 21:15, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
