Hi - thanks for contributing to the commons. I noticed you uploaded Image:Ben-Harper-live.jpg and tagged it as "patent". Well, this image is surely not from a patent, so I tagged it as unknown. Unless you provide valid license info, it will be deleted soon.

Please read Commons:Criteria for inclusion and Commons:Licensing carefully before uploading more files. Thanks -- Duesentrieb(?!) 15:24, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop uploading images without information about source and authorship, and mistagging them. IF you continue that. you will be blocked. -- Duesentrieb(?!) 01:00, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, thanks for your answer. I have deleted the images in question, your new uploads look good - but it would be nice if you could include a little more information - see {{Information}} for a template.

Also, it's important that you put your uploads on gallery pages and/or into categories, so they can be found and used by others. Orphan images are useles to the community.

To avoid confusion: "patent" here does not mean an image license or copyright, but a technical patent as defined in en:Patent and es:Patente. The text and drawings from patents are in the public domain - that's the reason we have a template for patents. -- Duesentrieb(?!) 19:10, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS: Your signature is broken - it points to "Usuario:" instead of "User:". Please your ~~~~ (four tilde characters) to generate your signature. -- Duesentrieb(?!) 19:11, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - en:Image:VirginLogo.PNG is tagged as Fair Use, which is not acceptable on the commons, and deprecated on the english wikipedia, too. Please do not upload it to the commons. I don't know the policy for company logos on the spanish wikipedia, you'll have to ask there. Some don't allow fair use images (like the german wikipedia), some do. Some also have special rules for logos. -- Duesentrieb(?!) 23:42, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE: No entiendo[edit]

--Joanot Martorell 08:12, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:NobuyoshiAraki73.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{Cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. Image:NobuyoshiAraki73.jpg[edit]

Hi, thanks for your message. This photo was uploaded to Italian Wikipedia by User:Pirru. Do you have any reason to believe that Pirru is identical to Nobuyoshi Araki? Secondly, it:Immagine:NobuyoshiAraki73.jpg is tagged as "public domain" but on WikiCommons you claim that you are the creator and that you license the photo under GFDL and Creative Commons. Why? Do you have any evidence that Nobuyoshi Araki allows anybody to use the photo under GFDL/Creative Commons? Thuresson 08:47, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
