Rowing boat class icon[edit]

Hey Carlos Molina Fisico

I saw that you’ve recently uploaded some rowing boat class icons to Wikimedia Commons, which can be found in Category:Rowing at the moment. I find them very useful, but I somehow miss icons for the “Coxed quadruple scull” (4x+) and the “Octuple scull” (8x+ — also coxed of course). There are Wikipedia articles about these boat classes as well, and at least the coxed quad has even been a World Rowing Championships event for women in the 1970s and 1980s. Could you make icons for those two boat classes as well?

Thanks in advance, and Cheers

Thank you MisterSynergy. Actually I uploaded only this boats because they was taken from a PDF I found over the internet, but I know that 4x+ and the 8x+ are quite popular in other European countries and in the US, in spite of, in Spain, they are more unusual. But well, I'm sure that I can edit this pictures to create both. I'll do it as soon as possible.

I hope you can read me, writing in my Talk page.

Okay thanks a lot, and no need to hurry. I will see new elements in Category:Rowing as soon as they are added there, so I won’t miss anything.
Since I’ve also just seen you on my Wikidata watchlist I would let you know that the rowing boat class icons are also in use on Wikidata items of boat classes. If you are interested: wikidata:Wikidata:WikiProject Rowing#Boat classes. There is a query link in this section that lists all relevant Wikidata items of boat classes. The entire Wikidata-WikiProject contains much more information about rowing items, so in case you’re interested… MisterSynergy (talk) 15:11, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello MisterSynergy, as you have may noticed, I've uploaded the previous images and the two more that you recommended, all in SVG. I've created a new page for them because of the names was ###.png, and now the page must be named ###.svg

Here you can see the eight ;)

Thanks a lot, nice work! I have already added all of these files to the corresponding Wikidata items of boat classes; I will also consider to put them into Wikipedia articles in future, where suitable. Cheers, MisterSynergy (talk) 04:54, 23 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
