Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 startet in Kürze

Hallo Kallewirsch,

in Kürze ist es wieder soweit. Der nun schon traditionelle Fotowettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments wird im September zum vierten Mal stattfinden. In ähnlicher Form hatte unlängst der Wettbewerb "Wiki Loves Earth" eine erfolgreiche Premiere. Zu allen bisherigen vier Wettbewerben haben seit 2011 gut 3000 unterschiedliche Teilnehmer (User) ihren Beitrag geleistet. Du warst dabei, und bist auch herzlich eingeladen, am bevorstehenden WLM-Wettbewerb wieder dabei zu sein.

Allein in Deutschland wurden in den letzten drei Jahren im Rahmen von WLM rund 100.000 Fotos zu den insgesamt ca. 850.000 Kulturdenkmalen bundesweit hochgeladen. Jährlich haben sich mehrere Hundert Wiki-Fotographen daran beteiligt. Auch im kommenden Denkmalmonat wird dies gewiss wieder der Fall sein. Der Tag des offenen Denkmals am 14. September bietet bundesweit vielfältige Möglichkeiten, Denkmale nicht nur von außen, sondern auch von innen zu fotografieren. Denkmallisten sind dabei ein wichtiger Orientierungspunkt und zugleich auch Ziel der Einbindung der Fotos. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder neue Denkmallisten hinzugekommen, die hilfreich bei der Planung von individuellen oder Gruppen-Fototouren sind und auf eine Bebilderung warten, wie z.B. zu Görlitz oder Zittau. Unter den Landeshauptstädten fehlt nur noch Stuttgart. Aber auch hier ist Licht in Sicht.

In der Mitte Deutschlands hat die Denkmallandschaft der thüringischen Landeshauptstadt Erfurt nun das Licht der Wikipedia-Welt entdeckt. Mehr als 50 Tabellen enthalten 3.700 Denkmale. Allein die wunderschön restaurierte Altstadt umfasst 1.800 Denkmale. Eine von WMDE geförderte WLM-Fototour nach Erfurt am Wochenende vom 29. – 31. August lädt herzlich ein, diese einzigartige Kulturlandschaft zu dokumentieren. Mehr Informationen findest Du auf der Projektseite.

Der WLM-Countdown hat begonnen

Hallo Kallewirsch,

nun ist es wieder soweit. Vom 1. bis zum 30. September findet zum fünften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments statt. Im Mittelpunkt steht bekanntlich das Fotografieren von Kulturdenkmalen. Du hast an einem der letzten Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen und wir freuen uns auf weitere Bildbeiträge von Dir.

Viele interessante Motive, nicht nur Burgen und Schlösser, sondern auch Fachwerkhäuser, Brücken und Brunnen, technische und Industriedenkmale und vieles mehr gibt es noch zu fotografieren, damit sie in der Wikipedia dokumentiert werden können. Nützliche Tipps findest du auf unserer WLM-Projektseite. Du kannst gerne individuell Fototouren durchführen oder aber Dich auch Gruppentouren anschließen. Besonders freuen wir uns auf Fotos, die Lücken in den Denkmallisten der Wikipedia ausfüllen.

Darüber hinaus kannst Du auch an der Arbeit der Jury teilnehmen, die Mitte Oktober die Fotos bewerten und die Gewinner ermitteln wird. Bis zum 15. August kannst du hier Deine Bewerbung einreichen.

Dear Rodhullandemu, thanks for that hint. I´m currently working on articles about geographical topics in Scotland on de:WP and thus looking for photos about these. Whatever I find und upload, I try to put into appropriate cats. I´m quite familiar with the cat-system at :de, which seems to me to be more strictly and logically than those on other WPs, so when opening new cats at commons I try to handle it the same way.

I think, the photo mentioned above should not be hidden in the lighthouse subcat, as it mainly shows the entire island. I slept on that question and I think it would be the best to add two subcats to the RI-cat: Geography of RI, collecting Photos on geographical features, especially views of the entire island, and Architecture of RI/Buildings on RI, with photos showing particular buildings. I've had a closer look at this image, and I agree with you. But Little Ross is such a small island that further subdivision, other than for the lighthouse and cottages, seems somewhat pointless. If there are enough images of, e.g. a mountain, I have created categories such as "Distant views of ...", but I don't think we need that at this stage for Little Ross. Cheers. Seekreis - Jahr der Karte(nausschnitte) ?

@Kallewirsch: Ich denke, das Jahr 1800 (?!) stimmt bei folgender Karte und deren Ausschnitte nicht:

  • File:Amt Löffingen 1800.jpg
  • File:Amt Heiligenberg 1800.jpg

Für mich wirkt die Angabe 1800 aufgrund mehrere Fakten unstimmig:

1. 1800 kann wohl nicht stimmen, wenn der Autor: Franz Ludwig von Baumann (1846 - 1915) erst 1846 geboren wurde.
2. Veröffentlichung 1894, warum mit 1800 einen Stand knapp 94 Jahre davor abbilden?
3. Der Seekreis bestand 1800 noch nicht, die vier Ämter auch noch nicht, siehe de:Verwaltungsgliederung_Badens#Seekreis,_1809–1832 und de:Verwaltungsgliederung_Badens#Seekreis,_1832–1864

Aufgrund des Alters des Autors sollten die Karte wohl in der zweiten Periode des Seekreises (1832-1864) liegen. Nach 1864 macht auch wenig Sinn, wenn es dann als Landeskommissärbezirk Konstanz (1864–1939) bezeichnet wurde.

Sollte statt 1800 (?!) eine andere Zahl stehen?

Nebenbei erwähnt: Dir ist vielleicht schon aufgefallen, dass ich die Dateien im Commons bezüglich Baden nach den Zeitperioden gegliedert und dazu eine Navigationsleiste erstellt habe, siehe:

Die Karten und Kartenauschnitte habe ich auch sortiert und ebenfalls eine Navigationsleiste erstellt, siehe:

Lieber Triplec85, ist schon schwierig. Die Karte stammt aus einem Buch von 1894, siehe hier. Sie zeigt den Umfang der im Seekreis gelegenen Ämter mit Stand 1800. Zwischen damals und dem Übergang an Baden hat es, zumindest bei Fürstenberg, nur eine Änderung gegeben: 1801 ist das Obervogteiamt Donaueschingen aus dem Oberamt Hüfingen ausgegliedert worden. Zum Rest kann ich mehr sagen, wenn ich die abgearbeitet habe. Da der Seekreis, nach der Auflösung des Donaukreises 1819, in seinem Umfang (mit Ausnahme einer Handvoll Dörfer) geblieben und so auch in den LKB KN übergegangen ist, ist es eigentlich wurscht.

Ich nehme die Kärtchen in Artikeln, wenn sie die Orte des dort behandelten Amtes zeigen, damit der Leser sie zuordnen kann. Bringt natürlich wenig, wenn das später komplett umgemodelt worden ist.

Zur Kategorisierung nach Perioden: da wär ich vorsichtig. Auf der Amtsebene würd ich bestenfalls unterscheiden in vor (Ämter) und nach 1813 (Bezirksämter). Die im November 1809 verkündete und Anfang 1810 in Kraft getrene Änderung betraf primär die Einführung der Kreise als Mittelbehörde. LG von Kallewirsch (talk) 12:49, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
