First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.
Made a mistake?
  • Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Fotos, die zur Löschung vorgesehen sind.[edit]

Hallo EugeneZelenko - Du hast alle Fotos, die ich auf die Seite Hartmut Kaminski setzen wollte zur Löschung vorgesehen. Dazu möchte ich folgendes sagen: 1. Die 3 Fotos (H.K.1968 mit Super-8- Kamera / H.K. 1969 / Hartmut-984x886sw /), die auf der Seite Commons zu sehen sind, habe ich selbt gemacht. 2. Das 4. Foto "Text-DieKindervonHimmlerstadt" ist ein Informationsblattt, das ich selbst geschrieben und hergestellt habe. Ganz Allgemein: Mein Mann - Hartmut Kaminski - und ich hatten ca. 35 Jahre lang die von uns gegründete Firma CIRCE-FILM-GmbH, mit deren Hilfe wir unsere Filme produzierten. Bei den Produktionsverträgen mit in- und ausländischen Teilhabern achteten wir immer darauf, dass wir die Rechte - auch an allen Archivmaterialen - behalten. So haben wir heute ein umfangreiches Film- und Foto-Archiv, das ich allerdings auch noch der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich machen möchte. Nachdem mein Mann 2016 verstorben ist und ich die Firma liquidierte, gingen - laut Erbschein - alle Rechte der CIRCE-FILM (Film, Foto und Archiv) auf mich über. So bin ich heute die alleinige Inhaberin aller Urheberrechte an unseren Filmen und Fotos. Wenn ich Szenenfotos aus unseren (jetzt meinen) Filmen veröffentliche gehe ich davon aus, dass ich mich als Rechteinhaberin bezeichnen darf. Die anderen Schriftstücke: (File: Besonders wertvoll (Die Kinder von H.)pdf./ Mannheim-DieKindervonH.png /Fipresci(DieKindervonH.)png /Der gerechte Krieg-Berlinale1977-2.pdf / RP-Steh-auf-es-ist-Krieg20.06.1991) habe ich hochgeladen, weil Tronje07 die Auszeichnungen, die Hartmut Kaminski erhalten hatte, anzweifelt und ich die Richtigkeit dieser Auszeichnungen nachweisen wollte. Leider habe ich bis heute in dem Nachlass von H.K. die Urkunden nicht gefunden. Ich hoffe mit diesen hochgeladenen Schriftstücken kann ich die Richtigkeit meiner Aussagen (Auszeichnungen) belegen und die Zweifel von Tronje07 zerstreuen. Ich bin nicht davon ausgegangen, dass diese Schriftstücke auf der Commonsseite zu sehen sein sollen. Frage: Soll ich in Zukunft als Rechteinhaberin lieber Circe-Film angeben? (Obwohl ich Circe-Film bin). Auf jeden Fall möchte ich mich für eure genaue Kontrolle bedanken und bin über jede Anregung dankbar, um in Zukunft schon im Vorfeld diese Nachfragen zu vermeiden. Ich möchte ja - wenn ich Zeit habe – noch weitere Fotos zu den einzelnen Filmen auf die Commons-Seite setzen, vielleicht auch Filmausschnitte. Es wäre nett, wenn ich eine Antwort bekäme.
