Permission to use photo[edit]

Hi,

I was wondering whether I might be able to use a photo of yours as a print on some T shirts I was planing to make to sell.

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Protest_Ends_Riots_Begin_WTO_1999_by_J._Narrin.jpg

I haven't had any printed yet, and I may not sell any! I don't work for a company and I don't work in the fashion or clothing industry. I haven't done anything like this before. I know that the image has some freedom of use with certain licenses, but I wasn't sure whether any of them covered small scale commercial production.

It says at the top "feel free to contact me", but I couldn't work out how to email you.

Could you please advise? An I believe that you can contact me through wikipedia?

Peoples Ticket, Salt Lake City, circa 1876, Mormons, front of.jpg[edit]

Hi! I'm not sure if you're still an active Commons user, but I thought I'd let you know that I've decoded an image you uploaded: File:Peoples Ticket, Salt Lake City, circa 1876, Mormons, front of.jpg. Unfortunately, your grandfather's handwritten note is wrong: It is not a "Mormon language". It is gibberish being used as a border, and many of the Deseret alphabet letters are not even in the correct orientation. The "words" in the top right would be pronounced something like "Vderda aad Faar areadeea"...I could not find any comprehensible Deseret alphabet words in the border. Using photo for article[edit]

Hi there,

I would like to use the WPO 1999 riot photo on an article I am working on for an online magazine. I was wondering how I could accredit you in the caption. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2601:C6:4100:B900:65:7F6F:DDD7:EEE1 (talk) 22:40, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I appreciate your asking. Thank you! Articles are the original reason I posted my work here. Please, please send me a copy for my portfolio if it's not too much trouble. JT — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jnarrin (talk • contribs) 01:30, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing. Just to clarify, would "Photo by J. Narrin" be sufficient? Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2601:C6:4100:B900:65:7F6F:DDD7:EEE1 (talk) 01:48, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That is fine. Please if you would share this article I would be grateful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jnarrin (talk • contribs) 05:10, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
