China and LGBT media censorship[edit]

Hi JiangGengyu! I hope you are doing well. I noticed your edit to File:World laws pertaining to homosexual relationships and expression.svg on Wikimedia Commons, specifically, the edit that listed China as a country that restricts freedom of expression and association.

I noticed a recent news story in which Weibo reversed its ban on LGBT content on its social media site after public outcry in China.[1][2] I am wondering: Do you believe China should still have the censorship color on for LGBT freedom of expression? I admit I know little on this subject, so I wanted to defer to you as to whether this still merits this designation on the map. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you,

TenorTwelve,

I suppose that China still remains its designation due to the restriction of expression and association on LGBT issues, not just from one side like Weibo. Still, you should get more information from related news before making comments.

Thanks,
