De-adminship warning[edit]

Dear Jean-Frédéric, I am writing to inform you that you are in danger of losing your admin and interface-admin rights on Commons because of inactivity.

If you want to keep your adminship, you need both to sign at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section/Feb-Mar 2024 before 13th March (UTC), and also to make at least five further admin actions in the following six months. If you fail to do so you will automatically lose your rights in the next inactivity run.

You can read the de-admin policy at Commons:Administrators/De-adminship.

Thank you! -- CptViraj (talk) 20:45, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just a quick reminder that the deadline for submitting your most memorable shot of 2023 is swiftly approaching! As tradition holds, since 2018, we've been sharing our favorite captures from the past year with each other. This year marks the sixth iteration of our beloved "Most Memorable Shot" tradition, and we're excited to see what everyone has to share.

Whether you're a member of the Commons Photographers User Group or not, you're warmly invited to participate. Your unique perspective adds to the richness of our community, and we'd love to see the world through your lens.

So, if you haven't already, take a moment to pick out your most cherished picture of 2023 and share it with us on the designated page. The deadline is February 29th, so don't let time slip away!

Let's keep this wonderful tradition alive and celebrate the beauty and diversity of our collective experiences through photography.

Looking forward to seeing your memorable shots!

Best regards,

Hi, ErfgoedBot seems to be dead. His last edits are from 14 Mar 2024. ŠJů (talk) 21:13, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to say the same thing. It hasn't updated monument list on the local wiki for almost a month. Nemoralis (talk) 19:43, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category discussion warning

Video game videos has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.

In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!
