Hi Dbenbenn, I wanted to point out that User:Kaspersky Доверие is a sockpuppet of User:Zephram Stark. See w:User:Kaspersky Trust. All the Vladivostok photos he uploaded here can be assumed to have phoney sources. He also uploaded a bunch of duplicated images of ones that I had put on Wikipedia (that was just to annoy me). I don't really know what the policies over here are (he's banned from Wikipedia.....but I don't know if that applies here or not). Just wanted to let ya know. --JW1805 03:49, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. Zephram Stark is blocked here, too, and I guess it's well known now that Stark lies about image sources. I'll keep investigating ...
You said at Image talk:Tarpon Springs Mural improved.jpg that you have a higher-resolution version of Image:Tarpon Springs Mural.jpg. If so, please upload it! The Commons always wants the highest resolution images we can get.
I noticed at Image talk:Tarpon Springs Mural.jpg that User:ElectricRay supported Kaspersky suspiciously quickly. I see that w:User:ElectricRay is a fairly long-time contributor who has posted to w:User talk:Zephram Stark. Possibly ElectricRay is a well-concealed sockpuppet? Ohoho, you wouldn't be the first to accuse me of that, and I'm sure you won't be the last. Go ahead, do a CheckUser on me, old boy. My name is Olly Buxton and I live in North London. For corroboration, see my amazon reviewer page: [1] which dates back to 1999. I promise you I am not, and have never met, Zephram Stark, though I believe (from my time at Wikipedia) that that name is a pseudonym and he resides somewhere in the US. As I find him tremendously amusing, I do like to keep tabs on what he's doing (all one needs to do is look at JW's talk page for that) and I like to weigh in where I can with my countercultural show of defiance and support. All it is, is I think he's funny, and JW1805 doesn't! To my mind, the world needs people like Zephram Stark, and has a surfeit of JW1805s. I thought his Kasperksy Trust user was a fantastic effort, and he almost got away with it! Watch the Skies, JW1805! ElectricRay 09:05, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I'm not going to speedy delete the "improved" images (Image:James Oglethorpe improved.jpg, etc); they're not really candidates. Possibly someone else will. But it might be better if you list them on Commons:Deletion requests. User:dbenbenn 04:42, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ulster flag[edit]

I've corrected the hand in Image:Flag of Ulster.svg, please let me know if there's something else that needs to be fixed. Conscious 15:49, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
