hoe om Wikipedia blaaie te vertaal?

Hallo Theresa,

Ek hoop dit gaan goed met jou? Was lekker om jou Saterdagaand te ontmoet!

Ek wil bietjie vir jou uitvra oor hoe ek 'n Wikipedia page kan vertaal? Moet ek 'n nuwe sandbox begin met die data van die Engelse bladsy?

Hi Liebe

Dit gaan baie goed dankie. Ja, dit was wonderlik om 'n mede Afrikaanse mens te ontmoet. Ek is baie opgewonde dat jy ook deel van die wiki-familie is.

Net vinnig, as jy vir iemand iets op hulle 'Talk page' skryf kan jy net die ikoon bo met die potlood gebruik, dan teken jy jou boodskap. Dit maak dit maklik vir mense om met jou in verbinding te tree, en dit sommer die datum en tyd by. Jy sal sien hoe dit lyk waar ek geteken het.

Soos genoem Saterdagaand het ek maar begin met vertalings van rolprent sterre waarvan ek hou. Ek is nie bekend met die manier wat Douglas jou gewys het nie, so ek gebruik maar my sandput. Al is dit ook 'n 'public space' is dit nog nie gepubliseer op 'n wiki nie. So jy kan lekker daarmee rondspeel en eers wanneer jy tevrede is, kan jy dit oorsit op die wiki.

Om te kyk of daar 'n bestaande artikel op die Afrikaanse Wiki is kan jy net die Vind Artikels funksie gebruik.

Om 'n artikel in jou sandput te begin moet jy die volgende stappe uitvoer :

  • Meld aan met jou gebruikersnaam
  • Aan die linkerkant is daar 'n skakel na jou sandput
  • Miskien sal dit nodig wees vir jou om een te skep
  • Die volgende sal dan bo verskyn - http://af.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gebruiker:LiebeB/Sandput
  • Jy voeg net hierby 'n /en dan die naam van jou artikel
  • Hy sal vir jou vra of jy dit wil skep
  • Dan kan jy die onderwerp vanaf die Engels gaan 'copy en paste' (doen dit vanuit die edit section want jy moet alles saamvat)
  • En dan begin jy vertaal. Dit hoef glad nie woord vir woord te wees nie, net soos jy wil
  • As jy klaar is gaan skep jy dieselfde bladsy op die Afrikaanse wiki en 'copy en paste' net weer

Laat weet my hoe dit gaan!

I have uploaded both our 2013 and 2014 financial statements on Commons to make it available for public viewing, and to include specifically the 2014 one as part of our FDC application. Hi Humetheresa: The page COM:SCOPE has guidance on this issue: "Files that contain nothing educational other than raw text. Purely textual material such as plain-text versions of recipes, lists of instructions, poetry, fiction, quotations, dictionary definitions, lesson plans or classroom material, and the like are better hosted elsewhere, for example at Wikibooks, Wikiquote, Wiktionary, Wikiversity or Wikisource."
