Les premiers pas

Le tutoriel des premiers pas et la FAQ peuvent énormément vous aider. Ils expliquent comment personnaliser votre interface (pour la langue par exemple), comment importer des fichiers, sans oublier les licences. Des compétences techniques ne sont pas indispensables. Soyez clair et présumez des bonnes intentions des autres. C'est un wiki - rien de très compliqué.

Si vous êtes la personne qui a créé ce fichier, prenez bien note que le fait qu'il soit soumis à cette procédure ne signifie pas nécessairement que nous n'accordons pas de valeur à votre travail. Cela veut simplement dire qu'une personne croit qu'un problème précis se pose au sujet de ce fichier, comme par exemple un problème de copyright. Si le fichier est listé ainsi en raison de la mise en ligne d'une meilleure version disponible, considérez que bien que le fichier puisse être supprimé, votre travail (que nous apprécions à sa juste valeur) continue d'exister au travers de la nouvelle version.

Dans tous les cas, ne prenez pas cette procédure comme une attaque personnelle. Merci !

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Your account will be renamed[edit]

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Hoplaaaa. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Hoplaaaa~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
