Hallo Hockei, die mit Dateien übersäte Kategorie Linaria vulgaris ist eigentlich schon gut aufgeteilt, über Linaria vulgaris - habitat kommt man irgendwann auch zur Kategorie Linaria vulgaris in Mannheim. Wenn man trotz dieser Aufteilung an der übergeordneten Kategorie Linaria vulgaris festhält, nun ja, dann wächst und wächst sie eben ins Uferlose. Vor allem nicht die Leute, die sich nicht besonders auskennen oder sich (berechtigter Weise) nicht durch alle möglichen Kategorien durchklicken wollen. Ich finde außerdem, dass zum großen Teil viel zu viel unterteilt wird. Aber wie auch immer, ich habe das jetzt erledigt. - Sehe das genauso. Die Länderkategorien wird man als unerfahrener Benutzer nicht so schnell unter einer Habitatskategorie wie Category:Linaria vulgaris - habitat suchen. Generosity Crowdfunding Campaign for User:The Photographer
Please excuse me spamming you. As a regular on Feature Picture Candidatess you will recognise User:The Photographer, who has 86 Featured Pictures. His contributions cover the architecture and culture of Brazil and Venezuela. He has basic photographic equipment: an old D300 camera and 35mm lens, and lives in a poor country where photographic equipment is expensive. The Photographer has recently taken several images using the technique where multiple frames are stitched together to create a high-resolution panorama. However, many times frustrated with the stitching errors that result from trying to take such photos without a proper panoramic head for his tripod. This special equipment permits the camera to be rotated around the entrance pupil of the lens, and eliminates such errors. Having a panoramic head would greatly increase the potential for The Photographer to create sharp high-resolution images for Commons. In addition, the purchase of a fisheye lens would enable 180 × 360° panoramas to be taken, which are a great way to explore a scene as though one is really there.

Hello Hockei, I saw that you added in this gallery the genus of the bird depicted in your image candidate at FPC. I saw also that in your nomination you wrote "Category : Commons:Featured pictures/Animals/Birds/Anseriformes#Genus : Somateria". However this is not necessary, only "Commons:Featured pictures/Animals/Birds/Anseriformes" is necessary because the bot will place the image, if promoted, in the section "Unsorted" whatever you have written.
I say that because if the image is not promoted the section have been created for nothing and you will have to delete it or I will have to do it, I already had to delete such a few empty sections in the past. You act in good faith and I thank you to try to be precise, however I will be happy that the next time you create the section only once the image have been promoted. I spent dozen or hundred of hours to create and maintain those galleries, and when you do this, in case of the image is not promoted and that you forgot to remove the section, you give me more work, because I can not let such empty sections. - Yes, you may. Ich denke, wir können das auch in deutsch besprechen. Bei C. alfacariensis ist die Form des Hinterflügels mehr rund als bei C. hyale. Nach sehr langer Betrachtung kam ich daher zu dem Ergebnis, dass es sich mit großer Wahrscheinlichkei um C. hyale handelt. Was denkst du?
- Ja – auf Deutsch natürlich :-) Zwar ist die Flügelform bei C. alfacariensis oft rundlicher, aber leider gelten solche hyale-alfacariensis Identifizierungskriterien nur im Durchschnitt. Meiner Erfahrung nach lassen sich beide Arten durch Fotos einzelner Falter nicht sicher von einander unterscheiden (andere Elemente wie Biotop, Nahrungspflanze und Aussehen der Raupen sind informativer).
- Ausserdem kann ich C. crocea mit diesem Foto auch nicht ausschliessen: dafür braucht man gewöhnlich die Flügeloberseite oder Vorderflügelunterseite zu sehen. --LamBoet (talk) 17:27, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

Es war starker Wind und da war nichts mehr zu machen mit weiteren Fotos. Es ist Verbreitungsgebiet beider Arten. Der Fleck am vorderen Flügelrand des Hinterflügels sieht auch eher nach C. hyale aus. C. crocea schließe ich aufgrund der Färbung über den Punkten (Hinterflügel) aus. Letztendlich bliebe nur die Bezeichnung C.-hyale-alfacariensis-Komplex. Ob das aber Sinn ergibt? Hallo Hockei, die Frage, die du mit deinem Lizenzbaustein aufgeworfen hast, ist schon recht alt und schon vor Jahren ausdiskutiert worden. Die CC-Lizenzen erlauben definitiv nicht, dass dem Lizenznehmer vom Lizenzgeber ein fester Ort für die Attribution vorgeschrieben wird. Gerade aufgrund der schlechten Erfahrungen mit unterlassener oder versteckter Attribution, die wohl jeder, der eigene Werke unter einer freien Lizenz zur Verfügung stellt, bereits gemacht hat, wünschen viele — mich eingeschlossen — es wäre anders. Aber so ist es halt; CC hat das damals ausdrücklich festgehalten. Mir ist auch keine andere etablierte freie Lizenz bekannt, die das erlauben würde. Was jedoch "erlaubt" ist bzw. auf Commons toleriert wird, ist eine entsprechende Bitte oder Aufforderung, die aber nicht als Bedingung formuliert sein und in direktem Zusammenhang mit der Lizenz gebracht werden darf. Wie ich das für meine Uploads gelöst habe, kannst du z.B. hier File:HolzfeuerFlussbett.jpg im Feld "Namensnennung" sehen: » please add this credit below or near the image. - Hallo Túrelio, vielen Dank. Ich habe hier den Praxisleitfaden zur Nutzung von Creative-Commons-Lizenzen von Dr. Till Kreutzer. Und der sagt eindeutig, und das ist auch der Sinn des Ganzen, dass die Namensnennung so zu gestalten ist, dass ein eindeutiger Bezug zu dem Foto zu erkennen ist. Er schreibt unter anderem: "... Selbst wenn der Lizenzgeber eine bestimmte Methode der Namensnennung vorschlägt/vorschreibt, ist dies für den Lizenznehmer nur dann bindend, wenn er dies in angemessener Weise erfüllen kann. ....". Also kann ich die Art und Weise grundsätzlich erst mal vorschreiben und es ist bindend. Nur wenn es so nicht möglich ist, dann muss es in einer anderen Weise geschehen, die den gleichen Zweck erfüllt. Das ist aber mit allen Gesetzen oder Verordnungen so. Der Zweck ist entscheidend. Der Löschantrag ist daher nicht rechtens bzw. nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Leute sind keine Rechtsexperten, auch wenn manche sich für einen halten. Wenn das wirklich stimmen würde, wäre das nichts weniger als ein Paradigmenwechsel mit massiven Auswirkungen auf Commons. Die damalige Aussage war nämlich, dass zusätzliche Bedingungen, die über die im sog. legal code der jeweiligen Lizenz enthaltenen hinausgehen, diese Lizenz zu einer nicht-mehr-CC-Lizenz machen würden. Das ist letztlich auch der Grund für den Löschantrag. - Hallo Rosenzweig, das ist wirklich super geschrieben. Es liest sich viel flüssiger als meine Version. Ich würde das so verwenden.
- Mit bitte ich gegebenenfalls meine ich Belegexemplare wie Bücher, Zeitschriften oder auch bedruckte T-Shirts. Ich habe auch schon welche erhalten. Zum Beispiel ein österreichisches Biologieschulbuch für Kinder. (Die haben das übrigens hervorragend gemacht, genau so wie ich mir das wünsche.) Ob das mit E-Books so einfach ist, weiß ich nicht, da ich keinen Reader besitze. Deshalb der Begriff gegebenenfalls. Damit meinte ich letztendlich, nur wenn Erfüllung des Wunsches technisch möglich / sinnvoll ist. Man kann das Wort gegebenenfalls vielleicht auch weglassen. Den Begriff Belegexemplar habe ich von irgend jemand anderen übernommen. Ich wusste vorher gar nicht, was das eigentlich genau bedeutet. - OK, ich schicke dir das Rohfoto. Das ist ein guter Vorschlag, auch wenn ich deine Version nicht verwenden werde. Ich schmücke mich nicht mit frendem Federn, sondern versuche es dann nachzumachen, wenn es gut gelungen ist. Schon allein um herauszufinden bzw. -arbeiten, an welchen Rädchen ich drehen muss. Du arbeitest ja mit einem anderen Programm, als ich.
- Das Riesenproblem sind bei mir die Farben. Grau und rosa z.B. kann ich oft gar nicht unterscheiden und verwechsle es sogar. Ebenso braun und grün. Es ist ein Sch... . Deshalb ändere ich Farben grundsätzlich nicht. Bei dem Schnee ist es unglaublich schwierig mit dem Weißabgleich, obwohl ich das nur mit der Pipette mache. Entweder er wird gelb bis bräunlich, aber nicht weiß. So sieht er vielleicht mit brauner Sonnenbrille aus, aber nicht ohne. Höchstens ein wenig, je nach Sonne. Mache ich es anders, kommt der Blaustich. Ansonsten weiß ich überhaupt nicht, was mit den Farben passiert. Wie in diesem Fall dachte ich, so ist es gut, schreibt ihr plötzlich von Grauschleier. Ich versuche es erneut, bekomme ich gesagt, das ist grünlich. Am Ende drehe ich mich ständig um die eigene Achse. Und das nur, weil ich die blöden Farben nicht richtig sehen kann.
- Ganz nebenbei gesagt, du kannst ja mal Yann fragen, ob er deine andere Version auf kurzem Wege löscht. Sorry, aber ich mag das gar nicht. Es gibt noch andere Fotos von mir, wo Leute meinen, sie müssten eigene Versionen von meinen Fotos herstellen und hochladen. Sogar Schnitte werden geändert für Wikipediaartikel beispielsweise. Wozu mache ich mir überhaupt die Mühe mit einem guten Bildschnitt? Es ärgert mich extrem. Ich mache das mit den Fotos anderer Fotografen ja auch nicht. - Guten Morgen, nach meinen ganzen Vergleichen und dem Verbreitungsgebiet bin ich zu dem Ergebnis gekommen, dass der Schmetterling auf britomartis zutrifft. Klar kann ich keine Genitaluntersuchung durchführen, aber dass können wohl die wenigsten (Artenschutz, Equipment, Kenntnisse, Seltenheit). - Ganz im Gegenteil zählen solche Melitaea-Männchen zu den wenigen Arten, für die irgendjemand die Genitalien im Feld ohne spezielle Ausrüstung prüfen kann, ohne den Falter zu töten (siehe z.B. hier + Vergleiche des Processus in den Lepiforum-Seiten).
- Meiner Meinung nach deuten hier die Vorderflügelzeichnungen und der Fundort mehr auf athalia, aber es wäre vernünftiger, das Bild als "Melitaea sp." einzuordnen. --LamBoet (talk) 18:20, 7 April 2019 (UTC)

Aythya photos
Hi Andreas - just got your email a bit too late! Your bird in File:2016.09.23.-01-Moerlenbach Moerlenbach--Reiherente-Weibchen.jpg (and the other photos in the set) is Aythya fuligula, not A. marila; note the presence of a short tuft, and the smaller body size. White feathers at the base of the bill is quite common in A. fuligula, it is not a unique character of A. marila. Hope this helps! - MPF (talk) 16:37, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

Loxia curvirostra photos
Hi Andreas - I was looking at your Loxia curvirostra photo File:2017.01.27.-28-Paradiski-La Plagne-Champagny-en-Vanoise--Fichtenkreuzschnabel-Jungvogel Fuetterung von Weibchen.jpg (and related photos in the set). You have this captioned as a female feeding a juvenile, but from the plumage patterns, I would say it is a one-year old male which is feeding an adult (one or more years old) female. The bird doing the feeding has too much orange to be a female, and the bird being fed does not have the heavy streaking typical of newly fledged juveniles. I sent you an email some time ago questioning your objectivity when voting at FPC. You consistently oppose my nominations and you are of course entitled to do so. You have not, on the other hand, given me any support votes on my last twenty or thirty FPC nominations, most of which have been promoted. - I think it's a matter of taste which one is better for FP. I know the people who are active in FP and that they like pictures with very little busy background. Independently of that I like (for FP) the nominated picture more than the other one. For VI you're right for sure. But I'm not active in VI.
