hello[edit]

hi! i am from Honduras and i see you have a pic of Tela railway station in Tela, Honduras. Photo taken in July 1994. and i was wondering if you cound give it to me. it's for an investigation i'm doing and that is the oldest pic i"ve found. i would thank you greatly.

Hallo Gmz82. That's interesting. What kind of investigation are you doing? Indeed the Tela railway station picture on this site was made by me. You can use the version you can find here. It is a scan of a picture I made in 1994 (that's not even all that long ago. I'm suprised to hear that it is the oldest one you can find). I am aware that the quality of that scan is not the highest possible. In fact I am not very willing to give you the original of this picture. I lived in Honduras in 1993-1994 and collected the things I saw and experienced there in some heavy albums. Giving you the original picture would destroy that. Unfortunately I fear that the negative got lost during the moves I made since then. Would it help you if I try to make a scan of the picture in a somewhat higher resolution and send it to you over e-mail? Feel free to answer in Spanish, by the way. I have no difficulties understanding that language. Are you still living in Honduras? (With excuses for my late reaction. I was on vacation the last weeks, happily being deprived of modern facilities such as internet and e-mail.) Hjvannes (talk) 14:44, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Maria Montessori grave[edit]

Hello. Yesterday we visit Verano cimitery in Rome to find Maria Montessori's grave which is pubblicated on the ufficial site and also on the flyers thay give us at entrance, but we didn't find it. Now I see your photo, in nl:Rooms-katholieke begraafplaats Noordwijk I found this source, which saysː "From the main entrance to the right of the priest's grave is the final resting place of Maria Montessori... A graceful low wall in curved form surrounds her grave.", so I think this information on the Verano cimitery site is wrong (is present another grave named Montessori, but is about Alessandro Montessori, and maybe this created confusion). Can you confirm me? Thank you, --Camelia (talk) 10:31, 27 November 2017 (UTC).[reply]

Hallo Camelia. I have no idea about Verano. Never been there. But I find here and here some clues which tell us that her grave can be found in Noordwijk and that Verano has only a funeral tablet. Hettie (talk) 16:06, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
