Flag of Austria variants in svg[edit]

Hello Hindustanilanguage, you have done yesterday, Sep. 18th, some actions in case of Flag of Austria variants in svg as in the request of User:Gunnar.offel.

As that was:

Let me now describe the problems:

  1. The mostly correct version of the Flag of Austria ist File:Flag of Austria (state).svg in the back version to version as of 21:32, 7 March 2008 (UTC), as I have today reverted, see therefore the new, my, description (permanent version). I reverted it, because the new version of user Gunnar.offel (with his comment "official Flag (SVG) from bundesheer.at * Sign is more left * ...") is very wrong with the coat of arms "more left".
    1. The Austrian law, § 3 (3) Wappengesetz" defined it as follow: „Die Dienstflagge des Bundes entspricht der Flagge der Republik Österreich, weist aber außerdem in ihrer Mitte das Bundeswappen auf, welches gleichmäßig in die beiden roten Streifen hineinreicht. Das Verhältnis der Höhe der Dienstflagge des Bundes zu ihrer Länge ist zwei zu drei. Die Zeichnung der Dienstflagge des Bundes ist aus der einen Bestandteil dieses Gesetzes bildenden Anlage 2 ersichtlich.“
      Translated like:
      “The federal flag corresponds to the flag of the Republic of Austria, but also has the coat of arms in its centre, which extends evenly into the two red stripes. The ratio of the height of the federal flag to its length is two to three. The drawing of the federal flag is shown in Annex 2, which forms an integral part of this Act.”
    2. Similar the Austrian Armed Forces ("Bundesheer") in Grundsätzliche Bestimmungen über Verwendung des Hoheitszeichens sowie über die Fahnenordnung des Österreichischen Bundesheeres. Erlass vom 14. Mai 2018, GZ S93592/3-MFW/2018 in Abschnitt C. Ziffer 2 (section C. Number 2), page 3: „Die Dienstflagge des Bundes entspricht der Flagge der Republik Österreich, weist aber zusätzlich auf beiden Seiten in ihrer Mitte das Wappen der Republik Österreich (Bundeswappen) auf, das gleichmäßig in die beiden roten Streifen hineinreicht. Das Bundeswappen befindet sich hierbei genau in der Mitte des Flaggenblattes und steht bei abwehender Flagge senkrecht (Beilage 1). [...] Das Stielende des Hammers liegt auf dem oberen Rand des unteren roten Streifens und die obere Schnabelhälfte des Wappenadlers verläuft entlang des unteren Randes des oberen roten Streifens des Flaggentuches.“
      Translated like:
      “The official flag of the Confederation corresponds to the flag of the Republic of Austria, but additionally bears the coat of arms of the Republic of Austria (federal coat of arms) on both sides in its centre, which extends evenly into the two red stripes. The federal coat of arms is located exactly in the middle of the flag sheet and is vertical when the flag is waving away (Supplement 1). [...] The stem end of the hammer lies on the upper edge of the lower red stripe and the upper beak half of the heraldic eagle runs along the lower edge of the upper red stripe of the flag cloth.”
  2. As of said above the (moved) File:Flag of Austria (state, variant 2).svg is a variant of flag of Austria like in a simple heraldic version of the coat of arms as suggested Austrian Peter Diem and nearly as described as quoted Austrian Armed Forces ("Bundesheer") above (see 1.2. last sentence) and so mostly used in the Austrian Armed Forces (Bundesheer). It is not exactly correct to Anlage 2 (Annex 2) Wappengesetz, but because of described of and commonly used in the Bundesheer, it is a official Austrian Armed Forces variant.
  3. As of said above the File:Flag of Austria (state, variant).svg is a very wrong variant of the flag, because the placement of the coat of arms is very, very hard in the upper red stripe and has nothing to do with the austrian federal flag.
  4. Flag of Austria (state) 2.svg is now a redirection to the moved File:Flag of Austria (state, variant 2).svg.

To solve the problems I suggest to do in the way follows:

  1. To point 4: Quick deletion of redirection Flag of Austria (state) 2.svg (COM:GCSD#2): global use: none — commons use: none
  2. To point 3: Quick deletion of File:Flag of Austria (state, variant).svg as above described because of "accidental creation, or page containing nonsense or no valid content" (COM:GCSD#1; it seems that the mistake belongs on the first version of the file from March 10th with the wrong format 3:4 instead of correctly 2:3): global use: only 4 uses in user pages (1 enWP; 2 itWP; 1 wikimania2008.wikimedia) — commons use: only within descriptions of file Flag of Austria all named above (Flag of Austria (state).svg, Flag of Austria (state, variant).svg, Flag of Austria); only links in commons User Archives (talk:Gryffindor/Archive1, talk:Fry1989/Archive 1).
  3. To point 2: After quick deletion of Flag of Austria (state, variant).svg as before, moving Flag of Austria (state, variant 2).svg to the now free page Flag of Austria (state, variant).svg as of COM:RENAME#FR4.
  4. After this bevor quick deletion of the than moving rest Flag of Austria (state, variant 2).svg with now redircetion as no more used (COM:GCSD#2).

Is it possible with your rights as of 3. above to moving File:Flag of Austria (state, variant 2).svg to and overwrite File:Flag of Austria (state, variant).svg as of COM:RENAME#FR4? (It than solves also as of 2. above.) Than I can make speedyrequests on the two redircetions. --Elisabeth (talk) 20:13, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
