Bild Geometrie[edit]

Mir ist nicht klar, warum Sie mein Bild gelöscht haben. (Geometrie, zu Bertrand Dorny)

@MCDorny: mag schon sein, aber dadurch wird das abgebildete Kunstwerk noch lange nicht gemeinfrei! Sie haben (sofern Sie nicht der Künstler sind) nicht die nötigen Rechte („Die Fotografie weist keine ausreichende Originalität für einen Urheberrechtsschutz auf.“) für die freie Lizensierung des abgebildeten Kunstwerks. Die angegebene CC-by-SA-4.0 Lizenz war somit schlicht falsch und eine andere z.B. Template:PD-Art kann auch nicht angewandt werden, da der Künstler ja erst 2015 verstarb und das Kunstwerk daher noch urheberrechtlich geschützt ist. --HerrAdams (talk) 06:29, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@GPSLeo: Ich bin auf dieses Foto gestoßen, weil es in der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia verwendet wird. Ich habe mir dann nicht die Mühe gemacht, in der Kategorie nach weiteren Fällen zu suchen. Korrekterweise müsste es an jedes Foto mit Personen, weil in der Kategorie (ich gehe davon aus du meinst diese) ja auch Fotos ohne Personen sind, die der Hinweis natürlich nicht betrifft. Aber wie du richtig feststellst, ist es nur ein Hinweis und damit nicht zwingend notwendig, wie es ein Lizenzbaustein wäre. --HerrAdams (talk) 17:59, 25 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Important message for file movers[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Kapellen-Kat[edit]

Hallo @HerrAdams: danke für das Erstellen der beiden Deimenried-Kategorien! Nächsten Sonntag geht's in deinem westlichen Heimatgebiet weiter. Diesmal zwischen Huglfing (incl des fotogenen Schwayerhofs), Eglfing, Egenried und Eberfing. Dabei kommen auch die restlichen Gebäude in Huglfing dran die ich zuvor übersehen hatte zu fotografieren. ich habe die Fotografin des Bildes selbst kontaktiert und sie erteilte mir die Erlaubnis zur Nutzung des Fotos auf Wikipedia. Wieso handelt es sich also um eine Copyright-Verletzung?

Über eine kurze Rückmeldung würde ich mich sehr freuen. Bei weiteren Rückfragen stehe ich Ihnen selbstverständlich gerne zur Verfügung.
