I am afraid that the sentence “the author demands that his name be quoted under the image wherever it is posted” in your User:Halibutt/GFDL template makes the resulting license incompatible with the GFDL. Even if it was compatible with the GFDL, it certainly is not the GFDL, because you introduce additional restrictions, so it should not be included in Category:GFDL and the correct wording would be:

cześć, ktoś usunął galerię moich zdjęć z 7 IV 2005, która była w Jan Paweł II i nie pokusił się o zrobienie nowej. Teraz są zupełnie niedostępne, w każdym razie trudne do znalezienia, bo zadna strona sie do nich nie odwołuje. Zważywszy, że proszono mnie o ich zrobienie, to raczej bez sensu. Ponieważ postanowiłam zerwać z Wikipedią, nie będę się już tym zajmować. Piszę do Ciebie, bo bywasz tu czasem. Gdyby ktoś szukał moich zdjęć, to sa dostępne z mojego "wkładu użytkownika" albo na stronie mojego syna pl:Wikipedysta:Shinigurai. Nic więcej nie mogę zrobić, bo nie chcę się na nowo angażować. Mapy rozbiorowe.

Zauważyłem, że na mapach rozbiorowych, które wprowadziłeś obszar Krasnego Horodoku (nad rzeką Weliką) znalazł się u Ciebie w Granicach Rzeczplitej. Obszar ten utraciliśmy jednak jeszcze w XVII wieku. Sądzę, że pomyłka wyniknęła z faktu, że po prostu skopiowałeś granice wcześniejsze. Naniosłem poprawki, mam nadzieję w miarę wierne. Różnica w sumie mała... ale skoro ma być doskonale. :)

Dodatkowo wprowadziłem w końcu granice przedrozbiorowe z Rosją przy 1 rozbiorze, bo trochę kłuło w oczy.

Hello, I found a mistake in this map (maybe in others which soourced from this also). Ottoman Empire did not reach Poland. That territory at that time belonged partly to the Hungarian Kingdom (ruled by Habsburgs), partly to Duche of Transsylvania (latter was independent from the ottomans). See Image:Hungary_1550.png (this is the best I have found). User:-ii-

Co do Image:Irp.jpg i Image:Irp1635.jpg, to szkoda je kasować (zauważ, że poprawiłem granice województw litewskich, a w Inflantach w ogóle je wytyczyłem). Województwa w 1635 koniecznie trzeba zachować -to apogeum rozwoju terytorialnego Rzeczypospolitej !!!! Co do reszty, to chętnie zrzeknę się copyright (gdybym chciał mieć prawa autorskie to pisywałbym artykuły do PWN). Ty jako specjalista od grafiki na pewno zrobisz to lepiej, możesz jednak małym maczkiem dopisać shared contribution Mathiasrex.

Upraszam się o placet na korzystanie z twoich map w tworzeniu map wydarzeń historycznych (powstania, wojny, itp.). W końcu chyba nam obu chodzi o rozwój merytoryczny i ikonograficzny wikipedii?

Herb Warszawy

Herb ten wzorowałem na zamieszczonym w Albumie Heraldycznym RP, na oficjalnych stronach Warszawy, poza historycznymi przedstawieniami herbu, nie ma współczesnego (jedynie jest miniaturka, z której nie można odczytać kolorów), jak byłem w Warszawie też się spotkałem raczej z taką wersją herbu. Jeśli jednak taka: Image:Warsaw emblem.png kolorystyka jest obowiązująca, to poprawię, ale proszę o cierpliwość, bo nie będzie mnie teraz przez kilka dni. Widziałem to, ale bardzo trudno uzyskać odpowiedni kolor ogona, ale jeszcze popracuję. Pozdrawiam --Poznaniak 07:13, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Akurat kolor ogona może być niemal dowolny, bo w tym wypadku właściwy jest "kolor rybi" - czyli dowolny kolor w jakim ryby miewają ogony. Najczęściej w praktyce używa się koloru stalowego, choć wersje ze złotawym też widziałem. A tak przy okazji - od jakiegoś czasu próbuję zrobić porządną konwersję polskiego orzełka na .svg, bardzo by się przydał jako ikonka do paru projektów i stubów na angielskiej wiki. Niestety, nic mi nie wychodzi, masz jakiś pomysł jak to przekonwertować? Zaznaczam od razu że moje doświadczenie z Inkscape'm jest znikome... Halibutt 10:03, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Baretki

Przepraszam, że tak późno odpowiadam - nie było mnie parę dni. Dziękuję za Twoją uwagę, nawet gdyby ją nazwać czepianiem. Problem w tym, że znakomita większość baretek była robiona na podstawie materiałó z poleconej mi przez WarX'a strony: [3], a tam wprost nie jest napisane, kto jest autorem. Założyłem, że wzory baretek są ustalane urzędowo (może jakiś załącznik do rozporządzenia, coś w tym stylu). Czy sądzisz, że podanie źródła w postaci: wykonane na podstawie tego a tego (np. materiałów z tej a tej strony) będzie uczciwsze wobec, powiedzmy, potencjalnego autora? Jeśli dobrze pamiętam, chyba wszystkie baretki robiłem na podstawie strony... a ponieważ, jak każdy, pamięć mam zawodną, jeśli masz na myśli swoje konkretne obrazki podaj mi proszę nazwy, a na pewno dopiszę w ich wektorowych wersjach, że są zrobione na podstawie Twoich prac. I looked at the maps of Polish-Bolshevik War (1919-1920) for example, and I want to say they look nice. Yet one thing I do not understand: what are the names Glogau, Oppeln etc? From PL point of view at Polish-Bolshevik War they are Glogow and Opole. ? 81.15.180.110 22:38, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Wojskowosc i historia

Bardzo chetnie sie wlacze w anglojezyczne projekty, mam nawet kilka pomyslow. Wlasnie "zdownloadowalem" kilkanascie nowych zdjec z okresu II wojny. Pewnie jeszcze dzisiaj wklepie je na Commons, bo sa absolutnie unikalne - nikt ich nie ma, a wszystkie sa wlasnoscia rzadu polskiego na wychodzstwie, wiec absolutnie czyste. Witam! Otóż jest sprawa co do tej grafiki. Niektórzy wikipedyści mówią że jest zła, gdyż:

• ta dywizja nie istniała w czasach NATO (zamiast, np. 1 DZmech.)
• ma czerwony kolor, czyli jest po drugiej, złej stronie (ZSRR i te sprawy).

Sądze że obie wersje mapy powstania i orginalna mapa z 35 roku powinny zostac dodane do commons w pelnej wersji 3300x4100 (zobacz Commons:FAQ#What_resolution_should_the_images_I_upload_be.3F). Zrobilem pare prób, i pelna wersja twojej mapy w formie GIF jest tylko 2 razy wieksza od tyrazniejszej wersji, (~ 5.3Mb). Co z licencją tej mapy? Niby jest na licencji GNU, ale na obrazie widnieje napis "copyright: halibutt 2004". No i licencja obrazka jest też dla mnie trochę niejasna, bo z angielskim jestem trochę na opak. Jeśli możesz przesłać mi mapę z warstwami, to będę szczerze zobowiązany. Wektoryzowałem granice, ale wychodzą trochę pokracznie, zostaje wektoryzacja ręczna, ale to benedyktyńska praca. Obraz z warstwami bardzo by mi pomógł. A co do licencji i podpisu - zastanów się, czy nie lepiej by było, gdyby ten napis brzmiał "autor:Halibutt" (czy jak wolisz author). Niby to samo, a budzi mniej kontrowersji. Pozdrawiam

Witaj planuje użyć twojego szablonu odnośników do map względem tworzonej przeze mnie obecnie serii o Bizancjum. Znajduję się tutaj. Jesteś pewien co do ziemi lęborsko-bytowskiej? Lennem polskim stała się dopiero po 1657 (traktaty welawsko-bydgoskie). Wcześniej stanowiła część województwa pomorskiego (co prawda miała pewną niezależność), ale nie wiem czy można to nazwać lennem. Prosiłbym, byś, jeśli możesz oczywiście, wyjaśnił tę sprawę.Pozdrawam! Mapy

Czy nie mógłbyś nieco zmienić tej swojej mapy. Ktoś na en wiki stworzył zupełnie błędną mapę pokazującą Prusy Królewskie, Księstwo Pruskie i ziemię chełmińską. Lębork i Bytów po 1466 jako zupełnie odrębne byty polityczne niezależne od Polski. Wszystkie te ziemie były albo integralną częścią Korony Królestwa Polskiego albo jego lennami. [6]

Co gorsza ta błędna mapa wisi w enwiki przy większości haseł o historii tych ziem.

Twoja mapa wymaga tylko zmian kosmetycznych. 1. Zaznacz ziemię lęborsko-bytowską jako lenno Korony (proponuję pasy w kolorze Korony i Księstwa Pomorskiego)

2. Prusy Królewskie po 1569 straciły autonomię i były częścią Korony, więc należy zmienić ich kolor na żółty.

3. Księstwo Pruskie było tylko lennem Korony, więc czerwone pasy podobne do koloru Litwy mogą wprowadzić w błąd. Proponuję pasy biało-żółte.

4. Po 1569 już Litwy nie zaznaczamy odrębnym kolorem (chyba że chodzi o pokazanie prowincji na mapie administracyjnej). pozdrawiam Mathiasrex (talk) 20:45, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Location of Trembowla on your maps

First and foremost I am highly impressed with your maps. Only one thing struck me, and given my attention to detail, one should take that as a compliment--the location of Trembowla. You portray it as being upstream of Kamieniec on the Smotrycz River. However Trembowla is actually downstream of Tarnopol on the Seret River, rather on the Gniezna River just north of where it meets the Seret.

• swego czasu w artykułach o jednostkach wojska polskiego powsadzałem zdjęcia autorów niepolskich. To cała seria artykułow i te same zdjecia sprzetu radzieckiego lub zachodniego. Wynikało to z mojej niewiedzy i słabej umiejętnosci poruszania się po commons. Będe sukcesywnie częśc z nich wymienaił na polskie i polskich autorów by nieco urozmaicić serię i by.... eksponowac i "naszych" i "nasze" hi hi
